Apropos of nothing, I am popping onto your temporarily stagnant thread 'o music reviews to point out that, after having it pointed out to me that Anathema's latest album We're Here Because We're Here should be right up my alley, I have listened to said album and concluded that it should also be right up your alley.

To whit!

Oh yes, also I'd like to thank you for your entirely accurate observation that I am a smart ass, ha ha.

Hmmm, that is quite good, can't help but thinking that I've heard it before. Where.... I haven't a clue.

As far as this thread goes, I've simply been listening to too much music recently. Used to be I'd listen to an album, review it, move on to the next but at the moment for instance I have about 4 going on at once. Lots of Radiohead has been listened to (finally decided that Hail to the Thief is my favourite from them), I've started getting into a bit of electro-dance type stuff and then there's the usual. Some of which you may like actually, though I can never be sure.

I see a couple /mu/core albums here. I like your reviews. Think you could do Iron and Wine either Shepherds Dog or Our Endless Numbered Days? Or Four Tet - Rounds.

I could try, thought I have to admit I never got into Iron and Wine, I only really listened to the cover he did of Such Great Heights by Postal Service, though I guess I could try Shepard's Dog again.

Quick question, what is /mu/core? I've never been good at music classifications.

Done out of boredom and a need to try out something new. Feedback is more appreciated than ever, I'd quite like to do more of these, thanks.

Video reviews? Hmmm... well I would love to offer you some feedback but apparently I have this pathological aversion to watching those? I'm not really sure why, but I can never seem to bring myself to click on any of the various video reviews people have posted here.

I crave text damn it, and you're denying me my fix! How else am I going to point out typos and question grammar? Making video reviews is kind of like cheating from a super-pedant's perspective you know! Come to think of it that might be the reason I can never seem to watch them... I'll get back to you on this, it's experimentin' time!
