What is one thing that you have learned from the internet about how information is exchanged or how life really works.

For me its realizing that there will always be someone who will find everything on one topic whether it be: a TV show, a band, a comic, or even a scientific theory; and will make it available to everyone.

If someone makes a program/protocol, 99.99999% of the time it will be fundamentally flawed, really hard to understand, and poorly documented. Also even if that program is the best solution present, the rest of the world will eschew it for something far worse, and we get left with crap standards (like HTML)

Just what I had expected from a pony fan.

/sarcasm.
Actually, I was referring to things like the Xbox 360/PS3 flamewars that went on a few years ago. Never have I seen such tiny flaws inflated to such a huge debate. But sure, read into that what you will. You've pretty much demonstrated my point with that post, and I've also demonstrated it with this reply. Internet snobbery FTW.

That people think horrible ugly things, and when presented the safety to do so gladly do so...

That people are generally the most evil vile disgusting things to ever exist, basically.

Yay, thanks internet!
