I vote High Rock. I always make a Breton, and it would be nice to see them play up their Elvish ancestry more. High Rock also has the Orc capital, that could be interesting. Mostly I'd like it set there for all the magic that would inevitably be prominent.

Well... elder scrolls 2 already did that.

Considering that, a daggerfall remake would be pretty cool, although it would have to be condensed immensely.

OT: I have been wanting to check out argonia. The black marsh sounds awesome to be in.

That or summerset isles.

Dude, V hasn't been out for a week yet!

And meh. Not an Elder Scrolls fan.
But isn't it too soon yet to be talking about the next one?
I've already finished the game :p

From what I understand, it should be somewhat Asian, rather then Eastern European.

I want them to go back in the timeline to when the Dwemer were still around. I don't really care which province(s), as long as they do that. The Dwemer ruins have consistently been the most interesting places to visit in TES games.

Any place which has a different theme to that of Morrowind, Cyrodill, or Skyrim.

In the future, I want a remake of Morrowind to Skyrim+ with awesome graphics and merged together for one of the biggest games on all time.

Edit: Oh, and I think the desert area should be an expansion to Skyrim. It will be a lazy way for Bethesda to make a large map without worrying too much about details. Plus it would be nice to have some sort of new type of dragon such as land snake like dragons, the kind that uses the sand like a snake.

Don't want anything that looks like the mojave though, leave that type of world in Fallout where it fits. Perhaps something like the Sahara would be nice, but more populated.

Yes, but consider that Morrowind actually only took place on one island, that, if you look at the map, is smaller than any other actual region.....and that "small" island was still pretty huge :)
Bethesda already made a game set in Morrowind. Since Vvanderfell was destroyed when the Red Mountain erupted and the rest of Morrowind was invaded by the Argonians I don't think we'll be seeing another game set in that region. The world is huge anyways. I'd much rather have a game set in a different region rather than just revisiting old ones.

OT: The next Elder Scrolls could be set in Hammerfell and continue the Aldmeri Dominion storyline started in Skyrim. It would be especially interesting seeing how choice factors in on the whole "Empire" business since in Skyrim you basically decide whether or not you want the Empire to survive or not.

I'd also been keen on Elsweyr, other than the different climate I'd be interested to see the Khajit as the majority. Bit close to furrydom though.

Black Marsh would be cool too.
.
Most of Black March is uninhabitable by other species if I recall it correctly. Something about poisonous marches and such.

I vote Elsweyr. I always play as Khajiit so it would be nice for my character to finally return home.

The whole decision thing is to add replay-ability value to the game...
Sure, you have quests and guilds and awesomeness, but that main quest has a couple of choices, and that encourages you to explore Skyrim again for 300 more hours to find out the other result.
I'm not sure if they will keep statistics from a save game... Like the Lone Wanderer, they will just decide a cannon ending if they'll be making another Elder Scrolls game.

I don't know, but i do want to see more of black marsh and akavir maybe? Elsewyr also seems like a popular option.
Also, why is it medieval for how many centuries? It's been 200 years(I think?) from end of oblivion already so wth? I understand magic and stuff, but c'mon! More advanced magic based machines? Just look at the observatory! WHy do we have to rely on dead nations for "shiny mysterious all-powerfull machines"?

I believe the next place will be the Summerset Isles

I figure a resurgent Empire takes the offensive on the Aldmeri Dominion and you play as an agent of the emperor stomping out any resistance the Thalmor may create in the region ( cause seriously fuck those elves)

Yes, like I said earlier I would love to see them play out a desert terrain with dunes, mountains, Savannah, springs... Awesome. Get away from the British landscape.

I would have spammed Skyrim right away one year ago.
but now the choice might just be anything.

I think a good thing would be to release "High Rock" as an expansion pack to TESV.
[Nerd] It would be great to the Isle of Balfiera where Akatosh landed where he made time liniar and ordened. And to step in the Adamantine Tower once more and see the place where Lorkhan was punished for creating this realem where is heart was cut out and shot in the ocean to create Vvadenfell.[/nerd]

Anything that isn't not-medieval-Europe will be fine.
It can't all be like medieval Europe, at least, it wouldn't be very interesting if it was. This is an entire planet we are talking about - even though TES has its roots in traditional fantasy, a little variety is nice to have.
That's what I meant. The generic fantasy setting is outdated and boring. Why can't they do another weird one like Morrowind?

The world had been almost destroyed by other worldly creatures.
It would be the same if you had complained that we hadn't invented laser based small arms technology because aliens invaded us, raped our women, took our land and then left us for dead on a desert rock.

I want more Vvardenfell, preferrably with the option to revisit Morrowind
Wasn't Vvardenfell destroyed? I think Red Mountain erupted after the Oblivion Crisis and made it unhabitable
NOOOOOES!!!

Well at least we still have mainland Morrowind don't we?
No, actually. The implication is that almost the entirety of Morrowind was devastated by the eruption, not to mention being invaded by Black Marsh. A few Dunmer NPCs mention having to leave despite living on the mainland.

For fuck sakes, Skyrim hasn't even been out a week yet! Couldn't you have at least waited a couple of weeks before speculating on the next one???

I know that the development cycle won't come even close to the one Activision is forcing on the CoD franchise, but damn it's fun thinking ahead even if it's in five more years.
