An RTS called Praetorians for the PC. It was a stratagy game with a good single player which you played as Romans in a neat little story.

It had a fantastic multiplayer which you could play as either Romans, Barbarians or Egyptians which all had a variety of different units with strengths and weaknesses. And with the patch there were 3 more races to chose from although they were kind of mix and matches of the first 3.

I would be surprised if anyone here actually played that game. It consumed hours of my childhood.

EDIT: Actually I have to thank the OP. This has given me some of the best nostalgia ever. I remember that this game have fantastic cinematics and a fantastic soundtrack. Hell when main menu music sounds this good it can only be great.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System was a great little game, how I wish I didn't trade it in.

Also XIII. One of the best FPS' of the last generation, yet so underrated.

Probably one of the most underrated and best games i ever owned is "Legacy Of Kain soul reaver", i,ve played soul reaver for the ps1 and it was fantastic. Brilliant storyline, fantastic voice-acting, character development thats in a class of its own eand it spanning from 1999 to 2004.( i think) It was a experience that was designed for interactive-story telling if it was a film it would of been shit and if it was a tv show or a book series no one would of heard of it. Only people that have played at least one of the games in the series would know what im on about, and that is why it is so memorable to this day.

Body Harvest for the N64. I found that game incredibly fun. The graphics kind of sucked but the weapon and vehicle selection was vast and enjoyable, the puzzles were fun and engaging, the story was a bit iffy at times but still acted as a compelling plot vehicle and the sound track was one of the creepiest I've ever heard.

It was made by the same people who went on to develop the Grand Theft Auto series and a lot of the innovative features of Body Harvest ending up being defining parts of the GTA series. I had far more fun with Body Harvest than I have had with any GTA game though.

Freakin' Tombi, man. That was... amazing... So very many hours poured into that game... I... don't think I ever finished it.

also, 'Rhapsody'; you play a girl who can speak to and control puppets, and you fight a lot of cats. Great plot and gameplay, though.

Disruptor, a FPS for the PS1 from 1996. Used to love it, even the silly cutscenes. Good times.

Would love to see a PC port of it, but that's probably never gonna happen.

Vagrant Story for the PS1 comes to mind, but then again I've talked about it on this site so much that some people may recognize it by now.

No one I've ever spoken to seems to have heard of Illusion of Gaia, it was a fucking awesome game even though I still can't get past that first boss.

The Neverhood coupled with a copy of Goosebumps: Escape from horrorland. Two PC point & click adventuregames that I loved to bits.
