I actually remember that thread and his name kinda.

I send him my best wishes for a swift recovery and kicking lupus's ass. I stay tuned for good news. ;P

You're both in my thoughts and prayers, he sounds like a right trooper and you sound like a most loyal friend.

While speaking to him today on the phone I told him I made a post on the escapist the very first thing he said was
"How quickly before someone posted that picture of 'House'?" He also found the 'press X not to die' to be very funny. He does own one of those t-shirts from here actually. It's the one with the mushroom cloud on it.

He also made me talk to one of the nurses on the phone telling her "You like dark and handsom right?"

So even though all he can move is a hand and head he is still his friendly, positive and charming self.

Thank you for the hopes and prayers.

Good thing that behind all the misanthropy, everyone in this site has a kind heart (kinda proving that the misanthropy and the fascination with death is all played for laughs).

Get well soon anonymous internet stranger, us other anonymous internet strangers wish you well.

I have a friend with lupus, I know it's not a very pleasant thing to deal with (particularly the bruising..) but over time it will get better, all the best.

Hang in there. Hope he knows the community is behind him. We shall vanquish this so-called 'lupus'. With silver bullets or something.

Before he's even begun physical therapy he has forced his other entire right arm to be movable though it hurts him a bit. He is very pumped about this and wants to show everyone who walks in that he can move his right arm and hand. Doctors say this is amazing.

So this mean's it's a very good sign, right? I'm glad to hear he's doing all right.

Glad to hear about him being able to come home! I'm sure that'll help his recuperation!
Personally, I always like getting better at home better then in the hospital.
We're still thinking of him! Keep us updated!

Good to see he's doing better.

We're behind him, and give him a cookie for us. I'm sure he'll appreciate it :)
