Striving to get 1000G in all games is like... farting really loudly in public.

It will feel good. But you lose friends in the process.

Unless you are just extremely good at games.

COD 4
Gears 2
Fable 2 pub games
Fight Night round 3
Over 1000 (but not 100%) on Halo 3.

Most of the time I'll beat the story mode on the highest difficulty but I don't usually bother getting stupid achievements that force me to change the way I play.

While I'm at it is anyone willing to try for the Nothing Special achievement in Left 4 Dead some time?

Edit: I've earned it now, so don't worry.

I got them over 2 and a half years. Not exactly difficult. Im suprised I have so many considering I work 2 days a week, in uni 3 days a week, and i'm out most of the time.

The only game I've ever maxed the achievements on was Fight Night Round 3, because they basically hand them to you on a silver platter. While I do like getting the achievement unlocked noise and all that, I don't get too bent out of shape about it. Generally, if I really like the game I end up with about 60 - 70% of the achievements before the game is no longer fun.

LOTR Conquest - Platinum Trophy. This was done without joining matches with lots of friends and letting you kill them.

Gears of War - 1000g

Dead Rising - 1000g

Oblivion - Platinum Trophy.

They are the only games Ive done them all on apart from King Kong. And if any of you find getting 1000g on King Kong an achievement go eat the fetid foreskin of Satan. (Even though LOTR Conquest isnt really)

I just feel like stating the fact that Condemned only has 970 Gamerscore total =p

OT- My proudest achievement would probably be defeating Dragonforce on Expert on guitar hero 3.

Other than that, defeating most Call Of Duty games on Veteran. The only one I haven't is 3 =/

I got over 1000 with the original Gears of War, Halo 3, Oblivion and Fallout 3 but these ones are pretty easy to do that with. Oh yeah, and Doritos Dash of Destruction.

The achievment I'm most proud of is the Vanilla Crazy Cake from Portal. That's a Steam one though.

My overall gamerscore's gone well over 20,000 now so I don't mind about most achievements anymore. I don't play games on ridiculous difficulties to get the gamerscore anymore, I'd only do it if it unlocked something I'd use in the game - like the armour in Halo 3.

I tend to only attempt to unlock all the achievements on a game if I really like it. However, I rarely bother if collecting items is a requirement. Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Dead Rising are the only games so far that I've bothered to unlock all the achievements for because I went through periods in which I was nigh on addicted to them. I hope to do the same soon for Left 4 Dead. I will bother to unlock all the achievements for Fallout 3 and Oblivion one day as well. I keep becoming bored with The Pitt in Fallout 3 at the moment, whilst with Oblivion I am always deleting all my save data and beginning anew. When I next make a character I think it'll be my eighth or ninth one so far. It doesn't seem to matter how far I've progressed either. At one point I was considering trying to develop a perfect character for the two, but I was soon put off by the prospect of 'efficient leveling' in Oblivion or collecting all of the bobbleheads and skill books in Fallout 3.

Portal: Still Alive 200/200
Blazing Angels 1000/1000

Those are the only two I've gotten all of the points for.
