I've been on an achievement binge lately--a lot of down time while waiting to hear back from the people in charge of my Eagle board-of-review. I've been trying to find some games and achievements which require as little input from me. I'm not talking about Avatar style dick around for 10 minutes and you're done. I'm looking for achievements where I just leave the 360 on and might require acouple button pushes every once in a while like "Chain Smoker" from Sabetour or "1000 Death Match Games" from Perfect Dark Zero. I looked for some online, but couldn't find any like this

Portal (Orange Box Edition at least) has an achievement for falling a shit-ton of feet w/o stopping. Basically put a portal right under you and right above you and let the game sit for ten minutes or so...

You get one for pressing Start at the title screen on The Simpsons Game. I think I win. Maybe.

Plenty of games have achievements for passing the tutorial level. I never liked pointless achievements like that.

Flower has one trophy you get for putting down the controller for 3 minutes during regular gameplay and another one you get for doing the same on the main menu for 10 minutes.

It also shares a trophy with Journey that you get for not playing the game for a week.

There is one game where you pause it and it's an achievement. Also same game you start it. I think it was an early X box 360 game.

I know Cave have done both of those.

Along with:

Die in the first 10 seconds.
Chicken out and select No when the game asks if you really want to play on the hardest difficulty.
Spamming buttons to make the continue countdown go past quickly.
Not touching the controls for 5 seconds

Prince of Persia has the start button achievement too.
Also, stay still for one minute in the same game. "Take time to think" is in the vein of what it's called, if I remember correctly.

Well, in Portal 2, there is one where you just stand there, as if to make a point to Wheatley about smeg off about his tests.

All pretty good so far.
I'm looking more for games that involve just going idle--whether it was planned that way or not--or just hitting the a button to refresh it every once and awhile.

I found a game called the Cave, but it doesn't look like it's out yet

Cave are a company, they make bullet hell shooters. You can get Deathsmiles, DoDonPachi Resurrection and Akai Katana in English for cheap and may be able to find EspGaluda II and Mushihimesama Futari on import, but they'll be expensive.

The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft will net you about 80-100 gamerscore in roughly 10 minutes. Just by constructing all the basic tools and killing a couple of common enemies.

Well there are a bunch of games that give you achievements just for watching the opening cut-scenes after starting a New Game...

I've never been one to go achievement hunting in a game that isn't World of Warcraft though, so I can't help otherwise.

Finishing MW3 on Veteran (Flame Shield Activate)
Lollipop chainsaw has a few very trivial achievements the most notable is probably look up the girls skirt (can't remember her name)
Just leave it up to Sudo to reward perverts

There are a ton of games that reward you for going through the credits angry birds and a few others.
