My favorite would be Carlos and Jessica (the second in command for Brotherhood) from Saints Row 2.

Carlos even though he's an ally gets dragged along the road from the bag of a monster truck for several miles. Then when you're finally able to disable the thing you realize there's no way to save him so you unfortunately have to shoot him (I teared from this).

Jessica because first you kidnap her ass then shove her into the trunk of her own car. Then you stuff that car into the car mash pile of a monster truck show tricking the leader Maero into killing her. Twas awesome

I know I'm nit-picking a little bit, but is it really a spoiler if it happens at the beginning of a game?
(even if it takes place after the end of the previous game?)
PS: that was an awesome death! totally agree.

EDIT: I just remebered one of my favorite death scenes:

Spoiler: In one of the endings of Soul Edge (prequel to Soul Calibur)...

...Li Long's ending, specifically. After fighting and defeating everyone, he never actually finds SoulEdge, is convinced/forced to give up his soul because he thinks his pregnant wife was already slain... only to die of a heart attack (or poison, it wasn't really clear). A fitting and dramatic death scene for an awesome character.

Lol the thorian was kind of fun to kill,it's quite challenging because of all them creepers and asari clones,then he dies pretty quick after that *zooooooooooooooooooooom* *splat*
