I cook at a fairly large family restaurant. Strangest thing is I don't even like cooking. I applied for the job years ago and started as a dishwasher and I've slowly been promoted up the ladder. I don't complain because the money is pretty good but I'm still looking for another career, just not sure what I want to do. I'm only twenty so I've got time.

Over the Summer months I work with my dad, fishing (mostly hermit crabs and welks). I enjoy it, and it pays surprisingly well, but it's not something I'd want to do for the rest of my life.
At the moment I'm studying for a B.A. in Applied Maths/Maths Physics, if that counts as a job.

Teacher, mostly P.E, but I can substitute a few courses if needed.
Is one of them geography? Whenever you see a P.E teacher on TV or in a film, they seem to do geography aswell.
At least from what I can recall, which to be fair, is Brian from Teachers.
Sure, but he rarely needs to be substituted, geo teacher that is.

Well, I'm a student, but I get my spending money by working at Arbys. It's a fast food place. Not glamourous, but it pays for my various habits.

And yes, the job is exactly as glamorous as it sounds!
That...pretty much sounds like my job. And I can sense the sarcasm in your last sentence.
Oh, no, I always dreamed as a little kid that I would one day grow up and get to stare at databases all day until my vision blurs. -_-

[sub]I actually really like my job, but it's more fun to gripe about stuff.[/sub]

I'm a civil claims adjuster for an insurance company. Not a very fun job with people being pissed at you all day, but the pay is good and so are the benefits.

I'm the head of IT for a $100 million dollar credit union. Pays well but the level of computer knowledge for most of the employees is frighteningly low. That tends to increase my blood pressure levels. Oh well, beats working retail.

Same here, I got pretty lucky landing this gig...I was in college part time for like 5 years working towards something in aviation. Got my pilot license and everything then ended up in a career that has absolutely nothing to do with that...Remember kids, going to college will pay off! >.>

Right now I don't have a job but I'm searching for one. My main source of income is my dad because as long as I do well in school and stay off drugs he'll give me money when I need it.I'll probably end up joining the Edmonton police Force when I graduate though.
Heh, you'll probably see a lot of my new boss, apparently he gets speeding tickets rather often :p

OT: I just started flooring, decided to get into a trade instead of wasting my life working nights at walmart. Currently working in the edmonton area. In leduc right now, hoping something comes up in lloydminster so I can be with my girlfriend

I'm the graphic designer for a local real estate magazine in our area. I also do part time work as a CAD draftsman and 3d model designer for architects. Lastly I'm also doing some sales and photography for a company selling mobile smartphone applications when I have no CAD contracts to work on. Kindof all over the place with my work regimen.
