No. I could convey just about every word ever muttered against censorship but I'll cut to the chase. These are just words, nothing more, they just get to the point faster, the only reason they're considered "bad" is a group of small-minded people decided so.

I just don't get why swearing is swearing. Why is one word bad and one isn't? If you say "damn" that's a bad word but if you say "the" it's fine. What's the difference.

I agree: that's a stupid system.

I'm Scottish, so I'm pretty fucking good at swearing. Not used to it on forums yet though.

Example: come the fuck in or fuck the fuck off.

My mom is pretty terrible with swearing, me and my brother used to harp on her about swearing in front of us. My brother pretty much swears every other word now, which makes him sound really repetitive; like some sort of curmudgeon on a crappy sitcom.

Whether or not I curse varies widely on activity and setting.

Melbourne.

East Brunswick REPRESENT!
I grew up on navy bases. Its weird that I didn't pick it up.
Really? Wow.
East Brunswick's full of old people.

Both my parents have military service in the family history. I grew into a long haired pretty boy with an interest in the arts. They are so proud of me :D

I can't swear any more than yelling "fuck this" when some game is getting me angry. I can't like string them eloquently into sentences or nothing.

Too young. Parents need to spank their kids. I'm afraid to say anything even remotely "salty" in front of my parents....Thank God they raised me right. I said something bad I'd feel it when my dad got home.

Words are symbols, symbols dont have physical substance, thus swearing can't do anything to hurt anyone without their consent. So thats retarded.... ****

People love to swear too much. Its not only lost its flair, but it is also becoming quite annoying, and it can make someone look like a complete dumb fuck (yeah, I know) if used as a comma, which lately, it has been. Since there are traffic lights right outside my apartment, and I live in the city, I get treated to hearing "You fucking fuck! What the fuck? Fuck your shit! Move you fuck!" all day and all night.

So, to answer the question on age limits of swearing, what age would it be where someone learns, not only how to swear properly, but to be able to do so without sounding like the Smurfs as directed by Tarintino.

A word is just a word there shouldn't be anything limiting people's vocabulary. If I, or anyone else, even children want to say fuck, let them because they are just words.

Could this be why there are so many little kids cussing online? Like they just turned 12 so they are using their newfound freedom?

EDIT: You fucking god-damn ninja. You just had to fuck over my fucking post, you fat slimy ****

>>Allowed to swear

Um....what? People aren't allowed to swear (in widely held social convention) but they do it anyways. That's what makes it swearing, not just using strong words.

"Swearing eloquently", huh?

It's easy, just use them as adjectives. That don't mean anything.
I'll have to try it. I'm rather fond of the word "douchebag" I'm not certain why. Whats your favorite?

Some people say swearing is immature. Doesn't that mean you should just let them get done with swearing early on so that they can learn new words and maybe stop swearing as they get older? ...just a thought.
