I feel like I'm gonna get a LOT of shit for saying this, but...

I mean, there were some really good songs on the album. "Back in Black", "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Shoot to Thrill", "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution", and maybe a couple more, but as an album, it was just meh. The songs were way too similar to each other, it was almost hard to differentiate one song from the others. The best way for me to explain it is that the album isn't so great, but the songs contained in it are awesome.

Also, Ashtray's album White Sugar is the Devil. After seeing them live and LOVING them, I bought their album, only for it to sound insanely amateur, with horrid mixing and some of the worst recorded vocals I've ever heard.

Icky Thump is one of those albums for me that just felt flat. I liked maybe three songs on it, and got super pissed at the "Prickly thorn" track and the one right after it. I don't know why.

And Gorillaz' Plastic Beach. It seems like every track is built the exact same. The first time I listened to the album I was surprised when I got to the end. It felt like I had only listened to three songs.

I'm just gonna say this right now, I'm getting my rage face on for St. Anger.

I didn't like Nostradamus from Judas Priest, because it didn't sound like Judas Priest to me. I was almost sick to my stomach from Chinese Democracy, cause if new Guns n Roses is going to be this bad, I wish they'd change their name because I don't like associating them with that album.

Sum 41's Screaming Bloody Murder. It was supposed to be an album where they went back to a heavier sound, like the few albums before Underclass Hero. I put it on, listened to it once, forgot I owned it, and haven't listened to it since. That was right when it came out.

It wasn't bad, but it was extremely disappointing considering what they'd said in interviews.
This. I was extremely disappointed by it. It's just so...boring compared to other albums. It's better than Underclass Hero, but that's not saying much.

lots of hate for a thousand suns but i really love that album (waiting to get flamed)
ehh personally for me Chinese democracy died a little after hearing that album and then a short while later during the concert in Dublin Axel arrived 2 hours late and then left in a huff after people threw water at him and it took another 2 hours to get him on stage again

I was really hyped for Breaking Benjamin's new album Dear Agony, then I heard it and thought, oh...meh! Though The song 'Hopless' from that album was actually pretty darn good imo.

Every Iron Maiden album after "Brave New World". Even then, "The Final Frontier" is....the only time I can literally categorize them in the WHAT THE HELL - category. It was as if they changed their entire sound. C'mon guys. Where's the aggression, passion, and feeling of YOUR style? It was replaced by some rock sound that paraded as the name Iron Maiden.

Every Iced album after "Horror Show". Hope the new kicks a-...oh that's right. Matt Barlow left again.

Then again, I can't say they "Pulled an In Flames on Us". That band fits this discussion to a tee. What a way to abandon your genre, sound, and fanbase.

Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled one. It was nowhere near their usual level of awesomeness.

(I feel like I'm going to get shit for saying I like A7X, but whatevs...)
Don't worry, I like them too.

To be honest, I was really disappointed with the latest Dropkick Murphys album. It wasn't that bad, but it was nowhere close to Meanest of Times.

Everything from Metallica after the black album. They have still put out some good stuff but the overall body of work really fell off for me after that album.

I have two that I can think of off hand:

Wrath-Lamb of God (pritty adverage for a highly skilled band and aweful in comparison to Sacrament)

Black Ice- AC/DC (the dieing spasms of a once great band)

These are my opinions so probably no-one will agree with me.

Why? A7X is probably the best band of the last decade (it's in my top three alongside Iron Maiden and Metallica), I don't see why you'd get shit for it. Though I thought the self-titled album was at least as good as Nightmare (Nightmare being amazing but also overrated (I should say overplayed), IMO). Of course, anything's going to seem underwhelming when you've released City of Evil, so there you go.

Also inb4 St. Anger...

Weezers Raditude.

I never wanted to jump out of a window before but that album definitely made me want to after track 3.

The new Arctic Monkeys album, "Suck It And See".
Any of the Kings of Leon albums after "Aha Shake Heartbreak", those dudes used to rock.
The new Radiohead album, "King of Limbs", was disappointing.
Newest Arcade Fire album, "The suburbs", also disappointing.
Daft Punk's "Tron" soundtrack, not that it was bad, just that it took time away that they could have been working on a DP album.
The newest Gorillaz album, "Plastic Beach", was a huge letdown besides "Stylo".
I gotta disagree with you on a few times there my friend.
1. I loved Because of the Times. That and Aha Shake Heartbreak are my two favourite KOL albums.
2. Arcade Fire's The Suburbs was just incredible and phenomenal to me. I saw them live last night (for the fourth time) and I don't dislike a single song.
3. Tron Legacy, great film soundtrack (especially for Tron) but not as a Daft Punk album itself. Doesn't hold up, but good in it's own right.
4. Gorillaz: The Fall was so much worse. SO MUCH WORSE. I enjoyed Plastic Beach, though I thought it was the weakest out of the 3. So I guess yeah, it disappointed.
5. King of Limbs disappointed me somewhat, but I don't think it was a bad album.

For my own opinions, most of Bob Dylan's latest stuff. Oh dear oh dear.
