The Twisted Metal games really take me back. I wish they would release a new one with improved graphics and physics. That would be really fun. Plus, it would have to have an online component. If they took some notes off Burnout Paradise City, they would make one hell of a game.

Yeah, I'd love to see a new Twisted Metal game sometime soon. Remember when we received the Online Disk for the PS2 awhile back? Playing it didn't bring back memories at all. It was, essentially, TOO dark, in the metaphorical sense. I realize that the game is pretty graphic in terms of content - seeing as you *are* blowing up people - but the originals had a cartoon-y feel to them, which I liked.

I agree with all except making Escape from Monkey Islang to Monkey Island 2. Then taking Spyro out, moving Paper Mario down to 2nd and havinf Final Fantasy 7 in first!
FF7 was a really fun game. I played it when I was younger, and I never got extremely far, but I did enjoy the time I had with it.

Great list man, seeing lots of those games brought back memories, and I'd mostly agree w/ you on the ones I've played (Warcraft III, HL, starcraft, twisted metal (incidentally I'm surprised you didn't mention #4, that was my fav apart from #2, I wasn't wild a/b 1 or 3 and didn't play black), sims, and spyro.

One change I would make personally is replacing spyro (which I did love and have many fond memories of) with Croc, dunno if you ever played it but it felt kinda similar to spyro except better imho, you play as a badass lil crocodile with a backpack saving these little brown fuzzy things, don't even remember what they were called but I do remember vividly the sounds they made and stuff... good times

I would also add, maybe even at #1, crash bandicoot 2 (3 would get an honorable mention). That game was really somethin special
Funny thing is, I believe I still have Croc somewhere in my attic or basement. I played it, and I'll admit, it was fun, but it never really got me hooked like Spyro did.

Also, Crash Bandicoot was fun, but to me, not EXACTLY memorable. It would have been, if the PS2 game didn't ruin those good memories. It wasn't bad, but... It wasn't good either.
