i would make them watch jersey shore... and start laughing at them. if they're going to kill us i want to make them suffer first, because if they are compassionate they would not need me to prove we are worth saving, and since they have the means to destroy us then we would probably just become slaves and most humans aren't used to that and would rather die anyways.

Not seeing a whole lot in this tread. You must be disappointed. Disappointed and sad.

Play music for them. We create some great audible noise. There's so many types, got to be something for everyone, even ET's.

Outside of Star Wars, how often do you see aliens and music together? It almost never happens, so they need us to bring it to them.

Unless their ears are of a different design, or they lack them completely. It's possible that they won't even be able to comprehend the music the way we do.

Pretty sure Bjork would work, as she may be from another planet herself. I can't really understand her over-reaching message but I dig her stuff, very interesting to multiple senses. Her song Pluto's just damn weird, especially near the end.

Strange doesn't mean alien, at least not in this case. It probably just means brain fried with drugs, or being from Iceland. Kept selling by that odd group of people that think anything strange is edgy. Well them and hippies. Those evil hippies.

Easier to just give up than to fight a battle that is likely not going to end well anyway. I'm still going to go with music. Who knows, the new beings may be able to really see the deep, deep picture of the tunes. The old claim that photographs steal the soul of the one pictured may actually hold ground to a musician composing a piece from the heart. Would be a trip to have someone from outer space be able to play it, nod their head, and be able to spit out a flawless recount of exactly what the artist was meaning to say, their mindset when the recording was created, sort of like a fingerprint frozen in the audible art.
