In the name of all that is good in life, I pray that this turns out to be authentic. I also want to think that my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson is Rube Shepard.

Here is what I really hope they look like:

But I'm going to have to agree with the OP and CNN that the fish crab creature is more likely at this point. Still I really can't express enough just how AWESOME this news really is to me. Finally we have actual evidence of other world life forms. While it's true that it hasn't been one hundred percent confirmed, I think it's still looking pretty good.

I've already heard of this like a month ago which is cool if there is life on Titan
I'm surprised more people haven't heard it actually. Of course there has to be more evidence gathered, but it's a great start.

Hoping for the best:

LOL It's like Clerks 2. "I wanna be an astronaut. I'd be the first to go to a different planet, find a new life form and F*** it! Then when people saw me, they would say "Hey, there goes that guy who F***ed a martian."
Easily my favorite line of that movie...

yeeeah in four billion years we will be either extinct because earth dies out before we have the technology to travel to titan, or still be present and be so technologically advanced that we could probably travel to other galaxies. Hell maybe even to another universe.
You get what Universe means, don't you? The Universe is commonly defined as the totality of everything that exists, including all physical matter and energy, the planets, stars, galaxies, and the contents of intergalactic space.

How could we travel to ANOTHER totality of everything that exists?
You never know lol!! :p

OK Im probably gonna mass replies from all the evolutionists but I am studying chemistry, biology & physics so heres my critique.

First of all, if nasa expects a chemical on the planet that isnt there why must it be some kind of lifeform breathing it. If its not there its not there.

Secondly, Only probes have been sent that have great limitations of observation. Unless scientists actually go on titans surface theres really not much they can know. Its hubris to claim to know so much about another planets moon when we havent even travelled past our own.
It wouldnt surprise me if all this hype was getting more funding. Back in the 50's the air force milked the roswell incident for all it was worth. They built a spy balloon which crashed & called it a weather balloon so as not to upset the russians around the time of the cold war. Fortunately, alien space craft was a better cover story & superceded government funding for the airforce over the navy & army to search for UFOs. Meanwhile a small percentage of those funds go to a two man radio station while the rest is used on secret fighter air craft.

Third, methane is CH4, there is no methane based only carbon based & you need oxygen & nitrogen to form proteins & amino acids. Which brings me to the fourth point-Chemical evolution isnt possible. Chemists & biochemists still cant develop working theories as to how it can happen let alone prove it in the lab. Like alot of things scientists dont tell us, chemical evolution is just assumed to have happened.
To get a living cell you need DNA sequences with meaninful instructions, Methyl markers to direct protein coding, Proteiens and enzymes for structure & controlled catalytic reactions, A semi-permeable membrane thats both hydrophylic & hydrophobic in the right areas, organelles to direct function & homeostasis as well as a constant source of chemical energy. Those sourts of things dont just fall into place. It also need an environment where metabolic wastes wont cause chemical equalibrium.

Sorry to tell you theres no santa claus. Reality can suck sometimes.

so there is flying fart monsters on titan?
Whatever they are, they aren't going to smell nice.
Methane is odorless.
:(
Why is that a sad face? That means that this world won't smell like dog farts.

What makes you think that we won't have technology to travel to Titan in FOUR BILLION YEARS.
That's a long time. Plus we would have evolved (assuming Darwin wasn't a liar) into something different by then... Probably something that can blow shit up with it's MIND.
no no, we will most definitely have the technology. I wasn't being sarcastic about the first part just the universe thing lol. And your right, the human species will have evolved greatly by then. Well not really, at some point we will devolve.

This is amazing, while I have no idea what they could possibly be like, except for probably water based I love this and if it is true I definantley want to see the reactions of those who refused the very possibility of even single celled things.
