For me it's not so much which games haven't I beat(I've beat all my games), it's which games I haven't beaten on the hardest difficulty for the achievements. AVP, ME2, L4D2, Dead Space, and Batman:AA.

EDIT: Oh, wait I just realized, I haven't beaten Half Life 2 or Half Life 2:Episode 2(I beat EP 1 though). I almost beat Half Life 2 but then didn't because I lost my save data.

wow this is depressing. here is the list a reasons i have not beat the games
1.Final fantasy 10: play station broke and i want every single item in-game. I could go beat the final boss now but i want an over whelming victory over the smug basterd

2 Castelvania Harmony of a Dissonance: i have about 3 bosses and levels to go.
3. Legend of zelda OoT: because my n64 got stolen and my saved game is on a hard drive i need to slave.
4,5,6. Final Fantasy 8,9,7: i lost my first disk for 9 and my memory card is broken. 7 i technically beat but i need to go back and beat the weapons and since i have no mem card or ps3 i have to start all over on all of them.
7. xenosaga episode 1: the bloody bastards broke into my home and stole my ps2 including my mem card!!
8. ff12: same thing as 7. didn't get everything and kill everyone. I beat the final boss though. gonna go finish it.
Halo 1:...what!?! i never beat the story mode! sue me!
9: Star ocean till the end of time: i'm only adding this because i liked it and some twats stole it along with my ps2.

Funny you should make a thread about this because just today I saw my copy of Twilight Princess for the cube, fired it up and finished it. I think I stopped playing because I got caught on a puzzle then couldn't be assed to complete. Puzzle took me not one minute now then I just had to get the boss key and beat Ganondorf. I loved the game all in all and I'm probably going to replay it soon just stopped before and until today never quite got the urge to finish it.

I'm also now on about my third or fourth playing of Fallout 3 and each time I play I get a bit further before I am bored to tears (and I've seen most of the story watching a friend play). Made it to Rivet City this time Maybe I'll complete it, who knows.

The only game I haven't finished is Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Every time I try to play it something comes up, and I have to stop for a day, or two. When I come back, I completely forget everything that happened, and I have to start all over again. I restarted that game like 8 times now. I'll get to it when I have a long stretch of unbooked days off.

I recently stomped Mirror's Edge into the ground after not playing it for several months. Got frustrated when the city started sending the ENTIRE SWAT team after me, but I showed them.

What about games that you own, but have yet to open? Tales: Dawn of the New World and Metriod Prime Trilogy for the Wii. Bought them before they vanished from shelves, but haven't even started them.

But did you beat it propper? Without firing a shot?

I am working on... 4 games at the moment:

Super Mario Galaxy - I have "won" the game but still have several galaxies to visit still.

Heavy Rain - just started.

Deadly Premonition - just started.

X-Com: UFO Defence - about 10 hours in, should have the tech to go into space soon (never beat the first one, only Terror from the Deap).

I just cant bring myself to get into the game anymore. I'm so close too.

My PC malfunctioned the other day so now I'm using the old one until it gets repaired. So that got me thinking what games can this old can even run and I remembered I never finished Planescape: Torment so I started that 2 days ago. And this time it's going down bitches!

Good call but given some time, there is no reason he won't be able to beat it. That game is hard, but it is fair, short, saves frequently. Repetition and memorization (and youtube walkthroughs) will get him through.

Super Paper Mario. Never finished the last few missions, let them be for a year, then came back and beat it. Then I beat the hundred Sammer Guys. Bowser owns.

since i tend to Jump around like some ADD child I'll list a few of the more recent ones


1.Dragon Quest 8: I can hit the black Citadel. but I still want to be be Morrie and his god damned monster team.so I won't communicate till I do


2.MegaTen: Devil Survivor, Got a little too dark for me and I really wanted to beat Persona 4.


3: Kingdom Hearts: 365/2 Days: I really want to beat it but I just kind of put it down and haven't touched it in about a month.


I haven't really gotten to finish a lot of games now that I've started working and going to school and it doesn't help that I just bought Strange Journey today.

My friend let me borrow Arkham Assylum, and I've yet to play it as Team Fortress 2 is very demanding. But soon that will change tomorrow!

Even more demanding now that the Engi update has been announced.

Gotta practice those Battle Engi skills.

My oh my, I have quite the list ahead of me.
Oblivion-Main Quest
Final Fantasy Dissida- Beating Chaos on Shade Impulse. I will beat him with Exadeath if its the last thing I do.
Disgaea 3-still a couple of extra missions I have to beat.
Demon's Souls- Completion of this game is sooooo close. I have almost all the trophies. I just need to get the hardstone and sharpstone weapon trophies.
And last, and least wanted........Final Fantasy 13! UGHHHHH! I'm....what, 10 hours in? Gah, I hate that game but I'll be damned if I won't beat it!

However, I'll have to get it again, since my copy has been lost. So not today.

But I promise you! One day, SHODAN shall fall!

I second that, also I have to finish Silent Hill 2 and 3, American McGee's Alice, The Hitman series and Beyond Good and Evil. But one day I WILL. I'm currently stuck in Beyond, I simply do not know exactly where to go, and yes I have checked walkthroughs. I will check again just in case. I'm currently playing Hitman however, and Silent Hill is very damn scary, but one day I will finish them all!

Earthbound, I got all the way to the end boss and died. I wasn't high enough level and there was no place for me to go back to for xp and there was no way I was going to go back through that whole game.

I'm getting close to finishing Just Cause 2, which probably has the highest number of things to collect/discover of any game I've played to date.

I've been playing my original save since launch, and I'm just now up to about 96%. Finding that last 4% in such a huge world is going to drive me mad, I can feel it. There's already one section of Panau City that I'm missing one thing in, but I've spent hours searching and only pulled my hair out in frustration before going off to find something else for a while, then coming back and trying again, but to no avail.

Truly, 100%ing this game will be one of my greatest achievements.

EDIT: I just hope I can get it done before RRR comes out, as I'll be playing that for about...oh, forever? Yeah, forever.
