I can't believe no one has said Christmas cake: it's got cake, marzipan, icing and fruit, plus if you are eating it then it means it must be Christmas too!

There used to be this Mexican panderia that had cheesecake that was *actually* cake.
I mean, it had the flavor of cheesecake, but was fluffy like a lesser angelfood. Was amazing.

I just ate a turkey sandwich smothered in gravy. I feel fat as it is, now you bring up cake.

Just give me a plain piece of chocolate cake. Betty Crocker is my favorite kind. So good.

(Stock photo phootage. Not actually BC cake to my knowledge)

I'm gona go try to feel better now.

As long as it's moist, but not tres leches moist, I'm good. Brownie-bottom coffee cake has been my favorite, so far, I think. My mouth is freaking out just remembering that delicious, Bailey's-creme-drizzled glorious bastard of a cake.

Any kind of ice cream cake or oreo themed cake. :)

Nom! Tres leches is also one of my favorites.
Another Tres Leches fan. Spread the word. Not enough people know about this cake.

Caramel cake, as long as there are no less than seven layers. Don't stiff me on my goddamn caramel.

Red velvet cake. If this isn't your answer then your answer is bad and you should feel bad.

Red dye does not an epic thing make.
I like that one guy's suggestion of using kool-aid in lieu of flavorless intestinal-painting inks. Plus, I had the red velvet pancakes at IHOP and they suck, carrot cake pannies ftw.

Damn it, Aylaine. You're making me hungry! :(

And I'd like to say chees-

Cheesecake. Strawberry, passion-fruit it doesn't matter. As long as it has that delicious biscuity bottom and cheese filling it will do.
Ninja'd, dammit!. To add to the cake discussion, I call for carrot cake on my part. I just really, really like it, okay.

My favorite is a cookie cake. Basically it's just a giant chocolate chip cookie with icing on it and it is awesome.

Prinsesstårta

It's a basic cake with green marzipan on the outside, but damn is it good!
Don't sell Princesstårta short! It's one of the few kinds of cake that is actually nicer store-bought. The base is an extremely light, sort of dry sponge, but there is very little of it, just enough to hold the cake together. The rest is whipped cream, custard and raspberry jam. I have never seem it outside Sweden. In Sweden, you find it everywhere.

My favourite cake? Can't choose. There are so many. You just have to get the right cake for the right occasion.
