Meh, i don't like feeling tricked or manipulated to give money to people. Ask me for money to support a cause, i'll give some if i'm feeling charitable. Turn it into a silly game all the cool people are doing , add in celebrities and peer pressure and all my interest suddenly dissapears.

What ever makes money man. That's what makes the world turn right.

They ask people every year, did you donate last year? Probably not. I didn't.
Now they have a viral campaign working for them, one they did not start themselves, and this brings in 80mil.

Why is this a bad thing again?
Oh, popular people are doing it, yeah, best go hate on it now.
Cause hating popular things in and of it's self isn't becoming popular at all.

I just remembered a group of people worst that the ones doing the challenge unsafely.
The ones who's screaming "you're wasting water, Africa has thirsty children" in every video comment.

Err I pretty sure even you do the challange, you STILL donate to the charity, otherwise alot of people would of badmouth those who did the challange!

Christ some people will complain about anything wont they...

It varies on place to place, but the general idea is that you donate regardless, and everybody has a bit of FUN.

On top of that money gets raised for charity and everyone's a winner. I'm doing mine tonight.
