With one eye.
Its the one he talks through.
(Obscure joke, refrence to brown eye).

I'm not afraid of this bunch of idiots, what threat do they pose to me?
Well, if you have any remote amount of influence and speak out against them they'll try to get you arrested/make you kill yourself, and come very close to succeeding or will succeed. Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Freakout

EDIT: Actually, that didn't really go in depth enough. Let me try to find something more in depth.

Normally I respect other people's beliefs, but somehow Scientology makes me feel uneasy when is see a member (mostly because this one member one day stalked me hoping I would join in)

Actually, I'd rather not. Have you seen /b/? And I'd rather be able to have a decent conversation without being interrupted by pornography and furfags every other post.

They literally have what is called a "Fair Game" policy, stating that, and I quote, "ENEMY ? SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."

Am I the only person seriously afraid of what Scientology has proven capable of?
"Fair Game" policy? That's just stupid. They can tell that to their people all they want, they aren't actually capable of anything legally. If they start doing that, its called thievery and murder. Sure, they could do it, but so could any murderer and thief, and the latter don't even keep rule books on who, when, and how.
They do it all the time and get away with it, because they have a lot of money. Seriously, spend an hour or two looking at all the examples of fair game and how they constantly get away with it. They simply put have enough money and good enough lawyers to bleed anyone who brings a lawsuit against them dry.

As far as I'm aware they've never directly killed anyone, but they've infilitrated the US government (Wiki Operation: Snow White), planned to frame a the Mayor of Cleverwater, Florida for a hit and run, and tried to have a prominent critic committed to a mental institution. Not exactly a harmless group.

Here are some wiki links, with the main page having more footnotes then I've seen for most other articles;

Keep this to discussion, not Scientology-bashing please. That would be oddly intolerant and cult-like of us.

Good point, but for fuzz sakes, look what we have to work with here! Just look at the "Fair Game" policy! For the love of God, something needs to be done...

I understand your point, but Scientology just doesn't worry me as much as similarly powerful/rich groups.
There are plenty of other groups out there that are much more powerful, and already have a much better root in the world, and I reserve my mental energy toward fearing them. I don't need another cloak-and-dagger bully to worry about, so I'm in a sort of denial that Scientology will make me give a fuck with their "uprising".
Scientology is just starting, and its hitting the rookie "things-to-do-for-sinister-evil-groups" checklist a little too slow and brazenly
Besides, I'm betting the popularity and early start of Scientology will be their downfall. They will try to push their shit a little too far, and either be shut down by the government, or by the other more powerful groups.

I could have worded and discussed this better, so in short:
Scientology R teh n00bz, an teh Bilderbergers woald kik they butttz.

"...In the OT levels, Hubbard explains how to reverse the effects of past-life trauma patterns that supposedly extend millions of years into the past.[116] Among these advanced teachings is the story of Xenu (sometimes Xemu), introduced as an alien ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy." According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Scientologists at advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating body thetans and neutralizing their ill effects."

;)

Effectively, I cannot comprehend how people believe this, but if they do, that's cool I guess.

Anyway, yeah, you're right to be scared. But not just of Scientology.

They definitly freak me out, but as long as I still have my 12-gauge and a few rounds of 00 Buck, I doute that I'll be living in fear of them.

If it hasn't already been pointed out...
The whole background to Scientology is merely a rip-off of the Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft.
I'm not kidding.
The entire book that created the damned fasligion is a blatant copy.
The only difference is a few key names and the like.
Replace them with the various Old Gods and general humans or so...

Also, I'll only be afraid of Scientologists when N.C. removes that one law (or set, can't remember) that lets me shoot people for merely holding an odd shiny object in my house (B&E's for the most part, but if I feel my life is geniunily((sp?)) threatened, and I can prove it, they're "Fair Game").
This "Fair Game" Policy is pretty much an odd shiny object that makes me feel threatened.

L. Ron Hubbard was a bloody science fiction writer. Even before his Dianetics BS. But oh no, these negative comments are caused by ancient space alien ghosts! Oh noes!
