Only three minutes?

I doubt it. It takes longer to get water to boil on a stove or to heat up a frying pan sufficiently to fry the egg.

The Microwave oven still heats up the articles placed in it the fastest.

Microwave eggs just seem kind of disgusting to me. It only takes about 3 minutes in a frying pan anyway and I would presume that you get a much better tasting egg.
