I am not, say again, NOT calling you a "fucking clown" but the rest of the comic applies.

OT- Everything the government has done up to this point seems legit, but we'll see. I would be disappointed if the feds wipe all of the data with a "scorched earth" policy like I have been hearing they might. I would give people the option of either allowing the government to confirm there is not any copyrighted material in their data or obtaining the proper search authority it if they refuse. I know a lot of people will be like "personal rights" and "personal privacy" but like it or not your stuff was found in a place that dealt in illegal materials. They have the right to search it. It is the same if your property was held in a storage facility that was seized in a drug raid. They will make sure you aren't hiding any drugs or you?re not getting your stuff back.

Wow, I'm surprised no overly-literal genius took the "am I the only one" bait. This gives me hope.

to add to this you want to help kick off the ww3 then go a head keep supporting sopa a pipa when they kick in you'll regret it and I'm also referring to the ones that support this insubordination. If you say there not going to be ww3 if these laws that try to pass thats good you still got hope but don't take the risk.
What?
Bad grammar aside, I made it pretty clear that I didn't support SOPA or PIPA.

I don't support SOPA and the like but taking down megaupload for knowingly distributing copyrighted materials and profiting from doing this does not seem like overdoing it, in fact it is what I think companies ought to be doing. Go after the distributes.
