I don't realy know why people find this so hard to believe. So you're in love with a fictional dog. Unless this transfers into reality, i see no problem here.

And even if it does, why does anyone care?

Hint: It has something to do with my avatar. Ok, not really. Although it is somewhat related.
Getting suspended for that alone would be pretty dumb.
You'd be surprised... yeah.

OT: Free Loving, all right.
Damn it, can't find the clip from a certain Fastlane episode... damn.

And by the way, the OP is NOT a furry. In this case he would be a Zoophile. Big Difference.

No. But nothing is ever "normal". I despise the word.

No need to see a shrink, if it hurts no one then it is fine and dandy.

Trust me, I know that most of the planet would oh so love to kill me for my attraction, so I can probably say with full confidence that in comparison, you are seen as perfectly normal.

Keep lovin who you love bud.

[sub] [sub] [sub] No Escapees, I will not go into further detail. I do not feel like being suspended again. [/sub] [/sub] [/sub]
If i might ask what is your attraction that most of the planet woul like o kill you for?
Hint: It has something to do with my avatar. Ok, not really. Although it is somewhat related.

[sub] [sub] [sub] [sub] Smaller Hint: It begins with the letter after O. Hell, I shouldn't even be telling you THAT much.[/sub] [/sub] [/sub] [/sub]
If it is what I think it is, I feel sorry for you.
People like that are no different from Gays and Transpeople. We can't help the way we're wired from birth.
I'm just lucky that my problems aren't illegal or considered "immoral" in the public eye.
I wish you luck on your life journey, it's not going to be an easy one :(

Heh, the journey that only gets longer with time.
Wow, that sounded oddly redundant.

No biggie, really, and not all that uncommon. Some people aren't attracted to the physical when it comes to the notion of relationships or even just simple emotional involvement. Many defined as pansexuals experience life exactly as you describe, purely finding emotional connection based on personality traits, character or seemingly minor physical behaviours, all completely irrelevant to gender or other identifying factors.

Google 'furry'.
You are not alone with your... interests. Don't worry, though- Anthropology is a legitimate fascination. Until you get into yiffing. At that point, just give up. Just... give up.
This is NOT what anthropology is. Anthropology is the study of mankind and 'culture'. It has nothing to do with animals.

...Anthropology? Am I missing something?
Sorry, I meant to say anthropomorphism.
It's the attraction human to human characteristics in animals. That's what OP has, as do all of us to a degree.
I didn't want to nitpick, but this misuse of the term "anthropomorphism" made me cry tears of blood. Anthropomorphism has nothing to do with any sort of attraction between anyone or anything. It's when an object, animal or a plant or anything other than a human has human characteristics. See this [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/anthropomorphism]. The dog from the movie is certainly anthropomorphic, but only because it was given human characteristics; language, facial expression, mimic, emotions.

As for the thread topic itself... I honestly don't know what to say. Fantasies are okay; just do go over into bestiality.

It's certainly unusual, even furries wouldn't usually be that obsessive. Maybe you're like some new breed of super furry o-o

Seriously though, there's nothing wrong with the attraction, just don't go doing anything with real animals and all is well :3

Ask not what is normal [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normality_%28behavior%29], ask what is ethical [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harm_principle].

I don't think Bolt really minds, so no harm in being obsessed with and/or attracted to it. No reason to read anything more into that either.

I wasn't saying I was superior to straight people I was just suggesting a reason why I don't find this as weird as you do, sorry if it sounded insulting.
You made a generalisation about straight people and their ability to comprehend things differently to gay people.

I cannot even begin to explain all the fallacies in that statement. For a start it's just wrong to make generalisations about people with no factual evidence. How would you like it if I said that pretty much all the gays I've known are overtly effeminate and wear pink all the time (fun fact, all the gays I've known are the complete opposite, but it doesn't mean either doesn't exist)?
Then there's the fact that sexual preference has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WAY YOU LOOK AT THIS KIND OF THING. I mean, how would you like it if I told you that you shouldn't read some books because you're gay and might take them the wrong way?

You made a condescending and fallacious statement about straight people. I will not have a double standard on this forum, and so I ask you not to do so again. The door swings both ways man.
That's not what I meant I was just saying that the odder conditions are when you're growing up may make it easier to deal with odd things, I only mentioned being gay because that's how i'm different growing up, it's the same with left-handed people, people with disabilities etc., also i'm speaking really generally, really generally gay men are more effeminate then straight men, really generally women are smarter then men, I could go on, anyway I didn't say that all gay people are really accepting of everything and all straight people won't accept anything, and stop pinning me down as some evil guy, I have nothing against you just a different opinion.

Also, WHAT MOVIE?!

Sounds like you need to get a puppy mate.
He most certainly doesn't. Knowing as much as I do from the OP, the consequences could be dire.

I don't think it is really an issue. Sure it is unusual, but is it a problem? Have you really suffered over this crush?

Suffer? Not at all. Quite the opposite, thinking of Bolt can make me almost lyrical. Oh and i already have a dog. Don't worry im not gonna rape her. Wrong gender, really.

Just get uber-involved in the furry community and you'll feel alot more comfortable.
You are like the tenth to refer to me the furry fandom. As stated earlier, i've been a furry for years. And I thought it should be more than obvious that im a furry. Im practically a furry representative! Its like walking up to a diplomat from germany and say, hey i think you might be german, and then feel all smart and witty about it.

Just start fapping over John Travolta. If it's the character's physical side you're in love with, however - then things are fucked up.
Never in my life - will I fap over Travolta. Now *that* would be fucked up.

Wouldn't that just make you a furry, though? Alternatively a zoophile, if you actually want to screw him (for lack of better words, I don't mean to be insulting).

Or is your love strictly platonic?
I'm not a zoophile as I'm not interested in real animals. (sexually)
I'm really more of a furry. :)
