Overall, this was good.
My only major gripe, apart from the previous statement, was that THAT'S Adrian Shephard?... some G20 protester asshole?

despite it was very good, it all seemed to have a "terminator Salvation" feel to it. The entire time i was waiting for "This is John Connor, and YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE" and it may as well have done it. "We are the resistance..." "This is Adrian Shepard, Wake up and smell the ashes".

ooooh it's a movie lol. Question still applies, also the voice over was terrible....

It's a fan job, so not canon. Although, since Opposing Force is barely canon as it is, you could almost call this half-canon since it's based on something of which Valve has yet to confirm nor deny to be canon.

And the voice-over sounds "crappy" because it's indie. You can't expect Hollywood quality without a Hollywood budget.

Sorry, I don't see what's so special. It was a 'chase' scene which would fail any film school's chase project definition because the character neither tried to accomplish anything nor met with any obstacles. He just ran, ducked behind things, and threw a grenade at one point.

As fans, we seriously need to stop being dazzled by amateur special FX before we start saying "These guys TOTALLY know what HL2's about! Let's petition Valve to give them the rights!"

Actually, it seems as though this was made by somebody else entirely. That was definitely my first thought, though, and I'd be stunned if the creators of this said they had no knowledge of it.

Some of the effects were poorly done and that crude/nerdy quote from beginning made me cringe a little bit but it was pretty good.
