Well something that happened to me today gave me the idea for this thread, plus its not really a topic I've seen about a lot lately. Anyway. I went down to my local GAME store to purchase a World of Warcraft 2 month time card and while on my way to the PC section, something in the bargain bin caught my eye. Something I would never ever ever expect to see in a bargain bin.

Knights of the Old Republic.

So I picked it up, walked up to the counter and asked how much since it wasn't priced like most others in the bin. And the reply from the bloke behind the counter was "A pound". My head almost exploded from the sudden onset of joy. After I stupidly sold my original copy, I'd found it again for one of the Queen's British pounds. I have never moved fast enough. Coincidentally forgetting the thing I went in there for the first place. But anyway.

What amazing finds have you found in a bargain bin I wonder?

A friend and I found two copies of Perfect Dark Zero for seven bucks each. He got a Collector's Edition, too.

Terranigma, my favorite game ever created. I bought it for 15 Guilders at the time, so that translates to about 6-7 Euros now.

The game is currently selling for about 50 dollars on eBay without box or booklet. I wouldn't sell it though, the game means too much to me.

Is this thread game exclusive?

If so, then it was when I got 20 PS2 games for 50 dollars last week.

If not, then it would be the time I bought the entire Death Note series, Clover, the Black Lagoon series, the Fruits Basket series and the Monster series for 34.50 at a yard sale all in great condition.

Kane and Lynch + Mercenaries 2 for ten dollars wasn't bad. Provided, they aren't amazing games, they're still fun enough to justify five dollars each.

Not video game related, but I picked up complete copies of the board games Hero Quest and Space Crusade for $2 and $5 respectively.

Finding those made my day, week, month AND year.

Well ive got some awesome bargains. KOTOR, Sins of a solar empire, and Morrowind gold edition for a tenner. Oh how I always bring up that day when ever people try to show off a game they got for 20 pounds.

I also picked up a bucket load of ps2 games for my little bro in the january sales. Got about 20 odd games for about 2 quid each.

I love bargains. They make up for every time I spent full price on a new game ive never played and hated it

Hmm, I found the XBOX game Breakdown for $5 at a local place called RePlay, well, it was $10 but they were having a 50% off sale. Fun and unique FPS if you ain't tried it, and I usually hate FPS not named Painkiller.... Same day I also found Final FAntasy IX for $20, and ealrier that month, Legend of Dragoon for $17

Shortly after X-mas, I found Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 at Best Buy for $10

Found Onimusha 3 at GameStop for $4, and Viewtiful Joe on GCN for $3.

I was once at a pawn shop and found the XBOX version of Megaman Anniversary Collection for $5

Also at RePlay: I found the JSRF/Sega GT 2002 combo disc for $5

I helped a friend get a copy of amplitude for 5.99
I would have just bought it for myself, but I already have it.

I get gaming deals every time the stop has their buy two get one free thing, now I own all the persona games released in the US.

People will probably be more impressed with buying ff7 for $15 (not greatest hits). I can't tell you how many times I've bought this game, though. I am so nostalgic.
