I never really found bargain bin games, but I've found tons of stuff that were priced well less than their true value. '48 gibson archtop, 72 chevelle, a palma modified custom winchester 70 to name a few.

Mirrors edge, 4 aus dollars at GAME. They had a whole stack of them (I wonder why? Maybe they ordered way to much)

Still havent bothered playing it, but its nice that i got it for less than 10% of the price most people did.

I got Stranglehold for 5 bucks once. Was great. Collector's Edition, too. Too bad I'm selling my 360, that game was epic. I keep seeing Sim City Societies for cheap at Superstore and it's so tempting.. But I have to resist.

I found Devil May Cry 4 Limited Steelbook Edition, factory sealed, in WHSmiths of all places (if you don't know, its a stationary shop/bookshop) for £9. I had been considering buying DMC4 anyway, so I snapped it up immediately. For £9 you can't go wrong.

Well something that happened to me today gave me the idea for this thread, plus its not really a topic I've seen about a lot lately. Anyway. I went down to my local GAME store to purchase a World of Warcraft 2 month time card and while on my way to the PC section, something in the bargain bin caught my eye. Something I would never ever ever expect to see in a bargain bin.

Knights of the Old Republic.

So I picked it up, walked up to the counter and asked how much since it wasn't priced like most others in the bin. And the reply from the bloke behind the counter was "A pound". My head almost exploded from the sudden onset of joy. After I stupidly sold my original copy, I'd found it again for one of the Queen's British pounds. I have never moved fast enough. Coincidentally forgetting the thing I went in there for the first place. But anyway.

What amazing finds have you found in a bargain bin I wonder?

i am truly jealous. i would have probably peed a little bit out of pure excitement to pay and get the fuck out of there to play

OT: mine was finding ff7 before it was out on psn (months before) in perfect condition at my local game store, the case and manual and every disc had zero scratches on it, got it for 11 bucks, i literally had a few tears of excitement and joy when i was handing the money over for it

I happily purchased Deux Ex, Alien vs. Predator 2 and Rome Total War in a plastic box in the back of a Cancer Research.

and I payed £1 for each.

(I reckon somebody's Mum gave away a load of PC games. In that box there was Morrowind, Freespace 2, Butcher Bay and Max Payne 2 amoung a few other gems. I dont know why I didnt rescue them all.)
