Amazing games that absolutely SHOULDN'T get/have got sequels

So we all know really amazing games where they were the first of their franchise, only to be marred by silly sequels hell bent on cashing in on the genuine success of the first. Also, we've seen many amazing fresh games come out recently that I'm hoping never see's a "2" on it.

For me it's Terraria and Minecraft, what's yours?

inb4 Bioshock. I actually liked Bioshock 2, it wasn't as good, but it was still good.

I can't really think of one, though.

HAWX.

The first was an enjoyable, arcadey flight game that didn't take itself too seriously. The sequel was a broken mess that made you take on far too many roles. I cannot dogfight with a Warthog goddammit! Why do I always have to do everything!? Let someone else take care of it!
Also, your allies' AI was pretty poor, so the entire war effort lay pretty much solely on your shoulders.

NiGHTS into Dreams, so good that Yuji Naka never wanted to make a sequel since he felt he could never upstage the original. So Sonic Team did it without him after he left, and sure enough, it didn't upstage the original, it didn't get even close.

Dragon Age: Origins. DA2 was the singularly worst game I've played this year. The general poor quality and cut corners bespoke of a game which was obviously rushed to market in a bid to make a quick cash-grab.

I want to say Fable, but 3 redeemed it somewhat... They should;ve just gone straight from Fable to Fable 3. Fable 2 sshould never have been made.

Bioshock and while it wasnm't 'amazing' it was decent enough. That game is 'Force unleashed'. They stoop to the bored plot device called 'CLONE!' and they don't even do anything with it!

and of course...
Bioshock, Bioshock 2 was still good,and would have been brilliant on it's own but as a sequel to the first it definitely shouldn't have happened

It's an unpopular opinion, but I maintain that I enjoyed the second Bioshock more than the first. The story felt more personal to me. Really loved it.

However, OT: I'd also go with Minecraft.

Red Dead Redemption does not need a sequel, I really don't want to play a full length game as Jack.

but really I dont think seaquels are bad, personally the amount of good if not better seaquels outwieghs the risks for a bad seaquel

is it me? or do I have the feeling this is a "because yahtzee said so" thing?
