I haven't the foggiest. All I know is that her statement that we "need more maps" has been a hallmark of American stupidity since she said it.DAVEoftheDEAD said:She was nervous she doesn't talk like that threw the whole things does she?
To be fair, if you aren't doing it yourself and you're just watching something put together like the following*, there's a chance that they cut out a lot of people who got the questions right. It wouldn't be entertaining or funny if they left those people in, so just edit it so it's all people giving wrong answers.Agayek said:Pick a random place in the country and start quizzing people on current world politics, big events in world history, or even American history and you'll likely get a blank stare for a few seconds before they try to laugh it off. It's really very depressing.
This again is another stereotype. There are fat stupid people all over the country, there aren't very many of them but unfortunately they are extremely loud and whiny which is why everyone associates fat, stupid people with America.Instinct Blues said:I think you'll find that if you do some research into where all the fat people are they are for the most part located in the South. As well as the stupid and rude people are concentrated in the South. So as long as you stay out of the South you should be all good.
Yeah, I'm fat..But I'm nice and I can be a little moronic but witty when I need to be.MoNKeyYy said:Snip
As much as I'd like to believe you, I did it myself in San Francisco with some friends and a camera a few years back just to see what would happen. We wound up with something like 65% of the questions answered were at least mostly wrong (ie, the inventor of the lightbulb was Thomas Jefferson, etc), with as many as 20% unable to answer a single one of the 10 questions (from memory: First US government, inventor of the lightbulb, commanding officer of the Confederate forces at the end of the US Civil War, locate Iraq and Afghanistan on a blank map, the PM of the UK, the current Secretary of State, and I can't remember the rest, though they were all along simmilar lines). It was really very depressing. I wasn't expecting a 100% result from anyone, but the average wound up in the 40% area.mjc0961 said:To be fair, if you aren't doing it yourself and you're just watching something put together like the following*, there's a chance that they cut out a lot of people who got the questions right. Well... I hope that's what happened anyway. I don't doubt that there are plenty of stupid people, but there must have been some smart ones too...
*Well okay, CNNNN is obviously put together for the lulz, but you know what I mean.
watching that vid hurt my head.........honestly i can answer everyone of those questions and its painfull to see retards not being able to answer even the simplist of questionsmjc0961 said:To be fair, if you aren't doing it yourself and you're just watching something put together like the following*, there's a chance that they cut out a lot of people who got the questions right. See, you were in LA. LA is a pretty fit town, considering all the materialistic craziness that goes on there. I lived there for a while and well, these fit people can often (at the risk of stereotyping) be narcissistic self-entitled jerks.MoNKeyYy said:So I just got back from a vacation in LA and I don't understand some of the stereotypes centred around Americans.
