Well, first choice was Canada. Then their government collapsed(or thats what the news says. Probably just overblowing it like they do with everything, but still, their government isn't exactly at its best right now).
England was another choice, but again, government isn't that great. Wouldn't say bad, but its a conservative government right now, which is something I'd rather not live in.
Ireland - Again, government's in the crapper.
Australia - The continent has giant fucking spiders. Along with wildlife that is bred to kill everything in the scariest ways possible. And did I mention the giant fucking spiders? Yeah, no.
New Zealand - Don't really know much about the place to be honest. Seems nice I guess. Guess it wins by default?
Anywhere else I'd have to learn a new language, which would be a pain in the ass. But if I had to choose from a nation that doesn't use English as the primary language, I guess I'd go with Japan. Yes it has Earthquakes and Tsunami's to deal with, but they're the most re-enforced against those things. So I wouldn't mind so much.
