Probably Canada since it's close and has similar culture and climate so there would be very little adapting. Then again I hate cold weather (It's April and still snowing... ) so I might want to go to southern Japan once I learn Japanese. I just find their culture fascinating because it's so different.

I've thought about getting away from it all for good many times, and the answer always comes down to somewhere in the middle east. A man can disappear there, live well with American Dollars, and since I am Italian my skin will adjust in the sun.

Plus, you can find most anything in the supposed black markets, and let's face it, I'd abuse the power men had over women there, at least for a bit...

New Zealand - Don't really know much about the place to be honest. Seems nice I guess. Guess it wins by default?
Lots and lots of sheep and they filmed the Lord of the Rings movies there.

Hmmm, normally I'd probably stay here until it was beneficial to my health and well-being to leave (complete bankruptcy and foreclosure). So if worst came to worst and America pretty much collapses under its corrupted weight, I'd hop across the ocean to Finland. I would gladly learn the language, and I've heard that the Finns have a great healthcare and education system.

Plus HIM originated in Finland, wouldn't mind checking out a place where one of my fav bands originated. :3

This is dumb. I wouldn't. And why are there so many political threads in the casual forum. Shouldn't this go in the political and religious forum?
Simple, this isn't politics.

OT: I would probably go to an Asian Country like Thailand or Vietnam.

People there are nice and love Americans and I love their culture.

I'd go to Norway. I have a friend who lives there so I'd have a place to stay until I could get established enough. Plus the scenery up there kicks all kinds of ass.

I'd go back to my roots and head to Denmark. One of the best economies in the world, cold weather (which I like), Legoland, and beautiful women. Who could ask for more?

I would probably choose Sweden. I'm actually thinking about moving there once my time in the service is done. Its cold, which I enjoy, and all of my friends who have visited said that Sweden was the best country they visited. Really friendly people, nothing too preposterous there, but I suppose I will find out for myself when I visit soon.

Canada. I live in Alaska so more specifically Vancouver. I was going to go to Australia then I found out they have giant fucking spiders and scary insects. I would be screaming every night.

Either England or Japan. England for obvious reasons, and Japan because I've always wanted to go there. If forced to leave my home, may as well go live somewhere I've always wanted to go to. So much stuff to see and do. And so different.

Germany or Israel.
Germany because I speak German and have family there.
Israel because I like the country.

Ireland speaks near-English, so I think I could get by on my current language skills.
Or, I think I could pick German up soon enough, if I really applied my self.
Northern Ireland speaks near-English (i.e. "Cahn i hae somme patatees wit me Guinness?")
The Republic of Ireland speaks Irish, which is its own language.

Well, first choice was Canada. Then their government collapsed(or thats what the news says. Probably just overblowing it like they do with everything, but still, their government isn't exactly at its best right now).

England was another choice, but again, government isn't that great. Wouldn't say bad, but its a conservative government right now, which is something I'd rather not live in.

Ireland - Again, government's in the crapper.

Australia - The continent has giant fucking spiders. Along with wildlife that is bred to kill everything in the scariest ways possible. And did I mention the giant fucking spiders? Yeah, no.

New Zealand - Don't really know much about the place to be honest. Seems nice I guess. Guess it wins by default?

Anywhere else I'd have to learn a new language, which would be a pain in the ass. But if I had to choose from a nation that doesn't use English as the primary language, I guess I'd go with Japan. Yes it has Earthquakes and Tsunami's to deal with, but they're the most re-enforced against those things. So I wouldn't mind so much.
It hasn't collapsed were just forced into another election because there wasn't a majority government established in the last one. We aren't falling into anarchy or a coup, it's more like our guys are out of office going on election again because the 3 dipshit leaders of the other parties couldn't get along with the head honcho of the main party in power. Once the election is settled then we'll go back to almost nothing ever changing again.

Probably Italy or Ireland. Those are part of my heritage and each has it's advantages. Ireland gets too much rain for me, maybe.
