I bought it twice, for me and for my friend cause I wanna support indie developers. And I'm gonna buy it again because this is a title one must own in a box.
Well, download the demo and see if it can manage it, this isn't Crysis we're talking about, more like Half-Life 2.Psychicflash666 said:So it's not coming to console?
I was excited until I saw it was PC only. My computer sucks, I'll never be able to play it that way...![]()
THIS. I can't belive that horrible thing is the actual box art. It completely ruins the experience and the mysteriousness of what lies in the shadows. Now many people will think that the game is plagued bypedophiles who were struck by a truck.Frank_Sinatra_ said:I think they should stick with the fake(?) box art. It's much more subtle and interesting.
It's friggin awesome that they're getting a box release though

There's just so much beauty to the rose in the puddle there plus it leaves questions about the game.Andy Chalk said:This is SO much nicer. Hopefully a mind will change somewhere before this thing comes out. Either way I'm buying it but wow. How could you say no to this?Frank_Sinatra_ said:I think they should stick with the fake(?) box art. It's much more subtle and interesting.

Ooo.. that's pretty nice, but the castle feels a little overdone especially since there's suppose to be woods around it.darkstone said:So that's what Daniel looks like hmm...but what did they do to Mr.face his face isn't nearly as scary and deformed as it is in the game, probably censors of some kind I suppose...
Edit: Not exactly the best but I think the russian box art is an improvement over the THQ version.

I think that's the European box art, and the OP's is the American one. I think.Frank_Sinatra_ said:I think they should stick with the fake(?) box art. It's much more subtle and interesting.

Like I said not perfect but still better than the american box. I already own the game so the box art doesn't affect me very much, but it could prove to be counter productive in sales for people just browsing the pc section at a walmart, I mean if I saw that game without any prior knowledge I'd never pick it up since the cover makes it seem more action-y than it really is.Frank_Sinatra_ said:Ooo.. that's pretty nice, but the castle feels a little overdone especially since there's suppose to be woods around it.
If you play the game and look out the window all you see are trees and a TON of fog.
Ill gladly answer the question!imnotparanoid said:Why is it still called Amnesia in english despite bieng polish?raxiv said:Its been released retail in Poland and not in America? THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER.

"Amnesia" translates to "Amnezja" which is quite similar, so even with different spelling everyone could work it out... but then, weirdly the subtitle is still there in english and underneath you can find the polish translation. It looks like clusterfuck but whatever.. costs only like 10? anyway, for such a game its a steal!
Wait... So this is a Vampire the Masquerade-game?Frank_Sinatra_ said:I think they should stick with the fake(?) box art. It's much more subtle and interesting.

Well, considering you don't actually own a game if there is no physical product involved...yeah, I'd say its a preety important part of the experience.Andy Chalk said:The box art, if that really is the box art, isn't great, but it is a nice option for those weirdos out there who think that a box and a disc are an important part of the whole "game ownership" experience.
