Never really cry as such but did shed a couple of tears for the following:

Series - Cowboy Bebop end of series, Trigun end of series , Fruits Basket end of series, Ganketsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo and Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone various bits.

Movies - Tokyo Godfathers, Summer Wars, The girl who leapt through time.

There is probably more but that's all I can think of right now.

The last episode of the second season of The Familiar of Zero had me crying like a baby for a couple minutes. Damn Sito is such a man!

And for the most entered next to Clanned, Angelbeats. The end is not what got me when a certain someone goes bye bye. It was the credits where it showed the whole group and one by one they passed on. I cried for a good 15 minutes. Angelbeats wins the award for most bittersweet ending of all time in anything ever.

Edit: Sword Art Online had me crying at the last couple episodes for both games. I would be crying 5 minutes into an episode. The feels man...

I've cried A LOT over the years. I remember the first time I saw Samurai X. I cried so much. The tears wouldn't stop coming. Might as well make a list of shows, movies, and OVAs that did it for me.

Samurai X OVAs
Naruto - this is an emotial show for a shounen series.
Casshern Sins - This show so effectively cast me in a state of depression.
Hukuto no Ken(Fist of the North Star)
Kikaider
Blue Gender
Saber Marionette R
Grave of the Fire Flies
Heroic age
Bubblegum Crisis 2040
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Jin Roh
Millennium Actress
Wolf's Rain
Armored Fleet Dairugger
Blood Reign: Curse of Yoma
Black Lion
Haibane Renmei

I've seen so many shows that have made me cry with joy, sorrow and so many other feelings mixed in. This would be such a long list. These are the shows I can remember off the top of my head for now. Lastly if you can't shed tears for Grave of the Fire Flies, you obviously don't have a soul.

Steins Gate provoked the happy tears with the final line of Episode 25.

Like the example on Page 1, I also got tears from Digimon Tamer's finale.

Every anime I have seen has made me cry. With frustration. Because they don't make any goddamned sense. Except Afro Samaurai. And Dragon Ball Z. They were awesome.
Where did you find that avatar? That is hilarious.

Cowboy Bebop: When they are watching the beta tape of young Faye giving a message to her imagined future self. Such innocent optimism being expressed for someone that doesn't even remember who she was, and has become so cynical and closed off from everyone. It gets me every time.

Blue Gender: At the very end.

I cried at the end of code geass and angel beats is sad-I mean the anime not the manga!
I heard clannad is really sad
I don't understand all the love for code Geass. The show was good but the story didn't have anywhere near the emotional punch that Samurai X had. I probably forgot to add Kare Kano to that list. That show really knew how to pull at my heart.

It takes a genuine story and characters to move me to tears. It takes characters I can relate to. You can't expect to get an emotional response if the show seems to force the emotions, or just seems to try to do something for the sake of that response. I remember feeling that way about Saikano. I loved the premise, but the show didn't really feel authentic. All I ended up doing was rolling my eyes half the time ever time someone died for no reason. A good story makes the viewer care about what happens to the characters.

Read or Die, the TV. When Nenene runs off at night in the rain and the sisters look for her.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmUI_ncXWuA

oh, and Tokyo Godfathers. That whole film gets me.

The Persona 4 anime almost brought me to tears once or twice... it's amazing how it tells almost the exact same story as the game, but does it in such a way that's completely fresh and engaging.

The game didn't make me well up, but the way major characters break down as their shadows take over and the mental and social pains they endured.. it got to me

Kaworu's death in Eva 3.33. I mean, it waas bad in the anime, but dear lord, it was so much worse in the movie. There's just nothing as painful as seeing his head get entirely blown off.

I'm not that much of a big anime fan. Don't watch it that much, but Avatar: the last airbender made me cry multiple times. I find the series very good and while I tried not to cry too many during certain parts there were some scenes that really touched me. The scene that touched me the most was the part with the song "Leaves from the vine". The song was made in remembrance of the voice actor of Iroh.
