Yeah I Think It would be much. much better to do it over a animation especially seeing everyones from different countries, I'm from England so it wouldn't be very..."cost effective" Shall we say for me to fly to America to help out. This way we could just say, make a user group and people can post up their voice overs ETC.

Making it as simple a flash sticks could be good to see if the Idea works? Before making it more detailed.

The good about sticks is a well people could be identified by different colours or maybe a little hair style or hat so it isn't anything difficult. This is something I'd really like to see materialize though.

I'll write and direct. you can probably find a better director mind you. And have it co-written.

The location thing is an issue; but I think the flash thing is a bit... below par. I do like the idea of different people doing different things. Different stories so to speak. And then some one can edit them together. Give us enough time and I can find a way to make it seem professional and ideal.

Can I be the black guy... Granted, I will need some makeup on the account of my white complexion

Glademaster: It would defiantly be good for a test run...It's a pity my computer animation skills are well below Zero.

McCa: True it could well seem like that but there is no way that everyone can be directly involved otherwise...

Well I'm one person on this whole forum would know their way around flash and animations. What about the people who make Avatars for users I'm sure some of them know what they're doing.

I want in, and I want to be the bloody insane person that you don't trust at all but he's such a badass you don't really have a choice.

There are bound to be people who live close enough to each other on here. I know a few members in person myself.

I would totally do this if I actually knew any of you people.
You should anyway! We are relative strangers united by a common cause! You don't need t know anyone to have good time. :)
Problem: I live in Alberta, I'm 16, I'm busy with high school (and hopefully Canadian Forces Reserves training), and I can't write a script worth shit (yet). I CAN act (Grade 10 Drama, and natural over-exaggeration), but that is the only thing I could bring to an Escapist production.

Oh, and don't try to bring the movie up North. Independent projects aren't exempt from the gun laws, and our cities generally don't like to have a bunch of independent filmers shutting down parts of the city to shoot a "zombie" film.
Well, we'll keep that in mind if go to do something like this in live action, but other people in the thread are talking about doing flash animation instead, so all you'd need is voice acting. What are your thoughts on that?

In all seriousness, this could be done. If we made it like a mockumentary "found footage" type of thing, it could work out. A central team could make up rough guidelines of what they needed shot, and they could be all sent in and spliced together. We would just need somebody to narrate who has a badass voice that sounds like a mix between Sam Elliot and Morgan Freeman.

I can do zombie make up and special effects (physical. I don't know how to use After-Effects). And I could also act and do camera work. I regularly hang out with another escapist, and we live in a rural area so it works. Any other escapists in Northern Alberta would be welcome to join us. I've also read the Zombie Survival Guide and do some writing so I could consult on the scripting.

As you can tell, I'm very serious about making this happen.

I'm from Alberta, so is Lost in the Void. But I can tell that you're from a city school because they could afford to offer a drama class, and we live we live way up north by GP. Too bad, because we could have jump started this production.
