And this is why I love my PC.
And of course, we know those never get screwed up.
Whenever mine screws up I can usually fix it within a day or two. Can you say the same about a Wii, PS3, Xbox360?

I haven't killed a PS3, but have claimed the life of both a Sixaxis and Dual Shock 3 controller.

Does that include a virus?
Yes.

Either turn the internet off, clean up the registry, and then delete the virus (assuming it's a bad one) of if it's FUBAR, just re-install windows. 1 day spent on backups, half a day spent on formatting and re-installing.

Only two months after I bought a PS3 and it completely craps out on me. Locked up while playing a movie and no longer sends out video over any connection type, regardless of power cycles or display setting resets.

My track record this generation is now two dead Xbox 360s and one dead PS3. I may be cursed, but anyone that claims significantly better reliability can now officially bite me.

Thankfully, the only things I'm missing out on are Disgaea 3 and the Iron Man Blu-Ray. I'd probably be much more upset if I was actively playing it.

I have one of the first X-box 360's to come out.
As a matter of fact it is the arcade version and not only have I had no problems what so ever but all my friends boasting larger hard drives, to make up for their lack of meat under the belt, have gone through at least one x-box each.
I don't know why PS3 owners shun the X-box community, sure we might have more "reported" failures, but according to some internet findings and cross referencing before laughing my ass off, Sony has seemingly covered up over half of the reports of PS3 crashes and break downs.

Now you might say that PS3 is better for the fact that it has Blu-Ray. Now let me ask you this. HOW MANY FUCKING GAMES USE IT? Seriously, the only thing Blu-Ray is capable of at the moment is Movies. If games where to be Blu-Ray equipped it would most likely take twice as long to put everything in it.

I'm not saying I hate the PS3, as a matter of fact I love it. Some of my favorite games (Old and upcoming) are on the PS3. If you ask me, the fact that the PS3 has all the special little bullshit is as annoying as four children with Polio, Terrets (Sp.?) and Bi-Polar disorder trying to tap dance on the cardboard box your dumb hobo ass is sleeping in.

But w/e, seriously, the good ole' Computer is the superior species in the long run.
Don't ever let your Xbox 360 hear you say it's fine. It'll start wondering immediatly if it'll be more fun to emit rd shiny lights like mine suddenly did. I swear i jinxed it.

And whats wrong with buying WOW gold? Hows it any worse than buying an expansion pack?
1 of them is attainable through the supposed "fun" gameplay (which brings to question just how fun the game must be) and will simultaneously inflate the in-game currency. The other is an expansion pack.

Yeah, wow. Do tell. A couple of their stories must be interesting, at least.

That is some serious bad luck. The closest I get to that is my PC frying my video card 3 times - always under warranty, so got new ones from the manufacturer. However, my mobo was supposed to be able to supply 2 types of voltage, it was set at 1.5 (correct for the card) but I figured it was supplying 3, so I bought a new mobo that only did 1.5. That PC is still going strong.
My PS2 is still working - now at my mom's house where my nephews play on it after school. My PS3 is also fine (one of the original european 60gb versions), and while it's not always on - it gets a good use, particularly on weekends when myself and my daughter play Lego or LBP on it.

Ha take that PS3 lovers who think their system is so much more reliable. Seriously this shows that any system can go belly up not just the 360.
This example still shows the PS3 is twice as reliable. That's quite significant. The PS3 is more reliable. This example does not even the numbers.

I'm on my second PS2 while my friends still works from launch, he has also not had a RROD. He does play less than most but some people are just lucky I guess.

Yours must have been sabotaged. Mine works perfectly even after 4-something months of owning it.

I love the way that some people are reading far too much into the title of the thread and others are trying to hijack it to further their own agenda.

Anyway, that's some really bad luck Virgil. I hope you can get it fixed quickly.
