Only two months after I bought a PS3 and it completely craps out on me. Locked up while playing a movie and no longer sends out video over any connection type, regardless of power cycles or display setting resets.

My track record this generation is now two dead Xbox 360s and one dead PS3. I may be cursed, but anyone that claims significantly better reliability can now officially bite me.

Thankfully, the only things I'm missing out on are Disgaea 3 and the Iron Man Blu-Ray. I'd probably be much more upset if I was actively playing it.
I bought a 60 GB PS3 in Feb 2007. Only problem I had was two defective SIXAXIS controllers. Now I have 4 DS3s, so it's not an issue anymore.

Two XBoxes (my brother's), but my PS3 is still going swimmingly - I've never gotten all the hate for it!

Just as humanity begets the atom bomb, so too have gaming companies created technology that is simply too powerful for the mortal plane.

odd.. only problme i've ever had with my ps3 or even herad of from friedns that own one is the wirless router issue when game patch updates freeze and whatever..but thats about it. though a quick wire switch on the router and a direct line fixes that issue in no time.
