Best news was that my gilfriend didn't have cancer. She is my first girlfriend. Losing her to some trivial disease (I kid, I kid) is just too much of a thought to bear. She's on medication now. And on her way to recovery.

EDIT:
And a little earlier today I found a way to duplicate items in Diablo 2 using ATMA. Suffice to say, I can create any rune word I wanted now, as long as I can find the necessary socketed itamz.
The absence of bad news is good news. I agree.

Also, anything involving Diablo II is good. I think I'm going o play that now.

When my fiancé agreed to marry me was great as well. We were at a big dinner at a friends house with most of our friends, I took a knee, and started laughing hysterically (I was very nervous). She said ?what are you doing?? I said ?Well, I want to ask you to marry me but I can?t stop laughing.? He eyes got wide, her and the other females present started jumping and screaming. I said ?soo???
Her answer to ?the big question? ?Duh!? and then a big kiss on the mouth.
Awwwwwwww.....! That's so sweet.

Here's some good news (I have lots of good news) that's incredibly recent:

I got accepted to my primary college of choice (it only accepts 23% of the people that apply [which tend to be in the couple thousands]). It's a video game college called DigiPen (you may or may not have heard of it). I was extremely happy when I got in after I had worked my *** off to apply.

The best news i ever had was when me and my girlfriend split.
No, really. It was a long distance relationship, so being in something that would never work out was traumatising....then she said that...Wow. Releeeeeeeeeeif....
Hey, I'm on a long-distance relationship, and it's working out quite well. There are some times when she's a bit clingy though. I talk to her each time I'm free, but I guess she wants more (time, I mean).

Denial, or maybe your the one who's cheat'n? If you are a good guy, I hope it works out for the best, seriously.

Best news I've ever heard?.....That if my mother dies, then my step dad dies (in that order) I get to go with my step dads parents who are helluva cool couple. No joke, they've done it all, and seen it all. Even stuff like volunteering in mexico, meeting the pope and gahndi, all of it. I know it sounds morbid but honestly, it's better then going to my deadbeat *father* who lives on the other side of the fucking country and won't pay child support. That or when I discovered videogames. I know its not news but it was music to me. I can kill people and vent all my angst, and NOT get in trouble? where do i sign up!?

Hurm.. my best news... Ok, this one is going to saound absolutely bonkers but I swear I've been happy ever since. A girl I really liked, I asked her out, she said no... Got me but I've been happy ever since. Ok, so that might not be uplifting to you, but hell, I'm happy, take joy in that chaps.
You know, I was actually happy the very first time I had gotten rejected too. I was proud of myself for being able to put myself out there. Sure, I didn't succeed but I had tried, which was more than I could say about most of my peers at the time.

What?s some of the best news you ever heard? Me?

Finding out I was gonna get to be an uncle was pretty damn sweet. I didn?t fully appreciate it at first because I was only 17.
I was ten when I became an auntie, how do you think I felt? :p
My brother was actually born an uncle, him and his uncle were in the same class at school!
When my nephew was born, I actually cried with happiness and danced round school saying, "I'm an auntie!"
When I found out I had another niece that I didn't know about (it's a looooong story) I didn't know how to deal with that!

My GCSE grades were also pretty good, I thought I'd failed them. My drama grade going from pass to a distinction was great news too.

Hmm good news eh?
Well I got a distinction in my grade 8 music exam. Got a Job which multiple people I knew applied and I got it, Oh and I didn't tear the muscle in my leg so I can keep walking. That was some good news :)
I like happy threads like this.

I agree, I think there's too much doomy gloomy sad stuff, it's the same in the news over the last few years aswell, I honestly can't say I've seen "happy news" on the BBC News broadcasts for ages.
Well Jade Goody is taking some stupid out of the world, isnt that a good thing?
