So, what's one weapon from any game you've played that was so disgustingly overpowered that you just wanted to stop playing?

This is more aimed at multiplayer, but singleplayer counts too.

I would say the Black Ops rendition of the AK74u did it for me, but it's not really overpowered, just really overused. Seriously, there are other guns in the game, people!

That said, the Buffalo Rifle a la Red Dead Redemption gets my vote. One hit kill, super accurate and manageable reload time (considering it's single shot only) and that's one hell of an OP'd gun in my opinion.

seriously, the gun auto locks on by keeping aim on the target...

the game itself has auto aim (which makes sense in this game, since the aiming and strafing are controlled with the buttons)

and it fucking kills in one hit

what's more is that the missile goes straight to the ground, that is, to the guy's feet

or the wall, in case he's close to one

The redeemer off of Unreal Tournament. It's a nuke, that one hits everything, that you can control through a first person camera so you can guide it wherever you want. Its an awesome weapon, though it is over powered, there is only sometimes one per map, so its not used to often...

UMP 45 in MW2. Somehow overlooked in every update. It makes every other automatic weapon in the game useless, unless you want to use the noob tube, which is OP in every CoD.

Not really a weapon but the last boss in tekken 6 was so fucking overpowered. Once he even scratches you; you might as well be dead. UMP-45 from mw2, it had a MAXIMUM 3 bullet kill regardless of anything apart from painkiller... I dunno, one of the assault rifles in BFBC2. The M16A2 i think it's called.

For real. I just ran around with Spiked Knuckles just in case. I just kept leveling up without killing anyone and was like "what the hell, seriously?" I kept getting into scraps on purpose just to enjoy the combat, but he would always kill the hell out of everyone first... jerk.

are you on about the CFA-44 cause when i played multilayer with it only had the rail guns

OT: the glitched AC-130 in COD-MW2 where it can fire its 105mm at the rate of the 5mm. if im not allow to use that um..... nukes in civ-5.

Fair enough, but there are most definitely some distinguished and horribly overpowered weapons in most games.

For the most part, I don't care if somebody kills me, but if they're using a notoriously overpowered weapon, they will receive no respect from me.

I dunno... I don't see why anybody deserves ANY respect for being able to kill you in a video-game. It's not like they've actually achieved something of any value.

I don't even dislike people that seem to get their self-worth from being good at a game. It just kinda makes me sad.

Although... I do have to admit to poking them with whatever stick I think will make them react most occasionally. I'm kinda strange that way.

I'm not sure. I haven't played the game in years. Sold it. There may have been 2 versions? No idea. I don't think this one had rail guns, it shot like 40 missiles at once.
