I threw my Xbox controller on the ground while playing Dead or Alive 3. The d-pad just didn't work after that.

Did it work before then?

LOL burn, I must say whenever I've used an Xbox controller while the overal experience is a comfortable one the D pad has nothing but scorn for my left thumb.

Never broke a controller, but I have gotten the cops called on me for screaming obscenities at games.

I've destroyed my fair share of N64 controllers on Smash Bros. I think around 5.....
but some of those were from Mario Kart

Lol.. so far i think we have an unofficial record holder in controller smashing.. with an amazing amount of 5.. that just wicked.. lol.. u are the master of disaster.. hehe

lets see....i smashed my world tour drum sticks against my friends face...thats what you get for poking me after i tell you to stop for the literally hundreth time dam it all. Then there was the time i set my ps2 controller on fire. Literally....last time it'll make a mockery out of me while playing Jak 2 at the final boss out of ammo and dark power...i hit my 360 controller so hard the B button and the right analog feel weird or pop out at horrid times....or the time i threw mt MLB 2k8 game down the street never to be seen by man again....

I've never broken a PS3 controller. I still have the one that came with the system. I did, however, throw my DS against the wall hard enough to split it in half while playing Puzzle Quest.

I've never personally broken a controller under rage. My brother once threw a PS1 controller at the wall when he was stuck on Crash Bandicoot 2 though.

I knew a guy who threw a wavebird through the wall (it was kind of a thin apartment wall, mind you) and then wouldn't admit it, even though the hole was almost the exact shape of the controller. Funnily enough, the controller was fine.

I haven't broken one of my PS3 controllers but I once destroyed a PS2 controller.

After I failed the 50th time at the last challenge in God of War I threw the controller at the wall. I was lucky that it was wireless but then again it was wireless!

3) Zippy1313: Didnt actually brake any controllers, but he got so angry and shouted so loud that the cops came to his house.. lol.


Can anyone take pole position in this "short temper" contest? or will megapenguinx win with his 5 controllers?

By the way, since we somewhat widened the range of anger victims, I have to give special credit to the old roller ball mouses of PC's yesteryear. How many of those have you NOT broken when the cursor just wouldn't move in that FPS, because there was dust around the ball?

I've got at least 3 down like that. And a first-generation laser mouse.
