Dead or Alive 4.

That bloody blue dishwashersubstance final boss.

Many controllers were lost. And yeah, ragescreams and also a headset got broken.
Uuugh, that damn thing. I hated it. So very, very much.

However... (to get back on topic)... annoying blue-jelly-boss in DoA4 was not the angriest I have gotten at a game.

Lost Odyssey. Finding out that a boss blocks all magical attacks, when you are forced to have a party of four mages and a single melee fighter is bad. Finding this out when you have never had said melee fighter in your party, thus he is incredibly underleveled and dies if you look at him funny, is worse. Having this boss on the 3rd disc of 4 is worse still. And the final straw of annoyance: I didn't have a back-up save earlier in the game. So I couldn't even level said incredibly weak fighter up (because my horribly out-of-balance party couldn't even beat the random-encounter enemies).

Raaaaage.

Modern Warfare 2, numerous times. I had to get off the herb, souring my disposition. Getting constantly shanked in the back led to many controllers thrown at the carpet in frustration.

Mile High Club.

Completely shattered a controller after an extremely unlucky 42 runs in a row.....

There was a time when I was absolutley obsessed with Zero Punctuation, so I tried to play every game he ever reviewed. Eventually I got to WET, and I just freaking lost it. Those sections where everything goes red, black, and white were so bloody difficult that I nearly broke my xbox controller.

Also, Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. Nothing specific, just the whole damn game.

When I was playing Diablo 2 on a sub-par computer; I got computer lag and died for the Nth time in an hour. I grabbed my mouse and literally tore it to shreds with one hand.

More recently I whipped my controller at my feet during a bad streak on Black-Ops. Somehow the thing caught a good bounce off the floor and ended up at my front door about 5 yards away.

Either SoulCalibur 4 (in which after playing for hours to try to master Kilik, getting absolutely owned over and over again by a button-mashing noob, which made me give up the game forever), or the original Guitar Hero, which was pretty much frustrating from beginning to end, but oh so satisfying to finally finish a grand year and a half after I bought the game.

I actually bit the top screen of my DS fighting the final boss on Trauma Center. Decided then and there not to buy the game because I didn't want to break my console (borrowed it from a friend).

That one sidequest in ME2 where you're dropped down on a planet facing 3 giant mechs... And of course I went down there without first getting a decent weapon.

I am happy though that my mouse survived its meeting with the wall. :p

I would have to say that the only game that got me really angry was soul calibur 4. Ugh, now that I'm thinking about it, maybe if I tried a different character in tower of souls....

I Wanna Be The Guy made me ragequit too many times. Spending several hours to get through a death-maze, dying over and over again, and in the end, I finally makes it. Then a apple fall upwards at the speed of sound and kills me.

Final Fantasy 13 actually managed to turn me into a blubbering wreck. How, you ask? Well, I had chipped 3/4ths of Rainez's health off, and despite the fact I had a Sentinal, went straight for Vanille (Who I had as a party leader) Picked her up, and kicked her to death. Despite the fact she had full health. And, like, nine buffs.
