Well, I'll throw out some of my favorite anime from 2013 onwards, all of which on the good ol' Crunchyroll, in no particular order really, just the ones off the top of my head.
First and foremost, World Conquest Zvesda Plot. My god do I love this show. It's got this Evil Con Carne feel to it, being about an incompetent group of Supervillains out to conquer the world. Hence the title.
Following up that is Tonari no Seki-kun this is a short series, and by that I mean the episodes are very short, like five minutes. It normally involves the eponymous Seki and all the wonderful ways he doesn't pay attention in class. Hi-jinks ensue.
Next up is the very oddly titled My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy. What a mouthful, but such a funny show. Basically, a high school student named Kanade has a very strange affliction. Randomly, he will be forced to make a choice between one of two outcomes, usually neither of which have a positive outcome for him. Cue more Hi-jinks.
to continue with oddly named series, there's My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU I gotta be honest, I love this anime solely for the main character, named Hachiman. A cynical, snarky asshole who everyone hates. Maybe I just relate to him, I dunno. Still a hearty recommendation from me.
Last, and certainly not least, is the absolutely wonderful Henneko: The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat Probably my new favorite romantic comedy. The series follows the aforementioned "Hentai Prince" himself, Yoko Yokodera, a giant pervert. He finds a wish granting statue and wishes to be more open with women, which results in a Liar Liar-esque situation in which he literally must always say what's on his mind. Despite how juvenile it might sound, the story really picks up a couple episodes in, and I have to admit, the ending was quite the tearjerker.
There you have it. I have to admit, I'm not the best at giving synopsis's (synopses? Synopsises?), as I like to keep them as brief as possible.
