So I just finished the anime: Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~, which by the way was great, and without spoiling the ending a twist that even M Night Shyamalan wouldn't see coming in the last minute of the anime tore my heart in two. So I was wondering if you have also had a moment like this when watching a anime?

Clannad... that is all.

Oh and the ending of Code Geass R2. That also made me shed a tear.

God damn ninja... >_<

Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, FMA, 5cm per second.

I can't think of anything else. Cried for the same reason for each anime except for the last one.

Edit: Maybe Jin-Roh. I don't remember, though.

Naruto broke me a few times, probably several thinking about it. But I don't watch that much animé.

I will say that TV shows/books/mangas have a lot higher chance of breaking me down though, longer time to get to know the characters.

Yes, that.

Also Elfen Lied, if only because a few of the incidents rang a little too close to home for comfort.

There hasn't been one that did, but Claymore came damn close for me (any of you who have seen it probably know what part I'm talking about).

Oof quite a few... Full Metal Alchemist (just because I'm watching it right now) made me tear up a few times.

Hughes Death being the most notable

Elfen Lied and Grave of the Fireflies. Most depressing things in the history of history.

Also Spirited Away in the scene where Haku and Chihiro are falling together, only not because it's sad, but because it was very heart-warming and beautiful.

Soul eater. It's a great manga and the anime is equally good, till the end where they totally kill everything.

The ending of Code Geass R2 just made me angry.
Lelouch died by the hand of Zero who is now Suzaku.
Yes, it was all a part of Lelouch's grand plan in the end, but that didn't make me like it. I didn't want that ending. I admit that it was a proper ending. I admit that it was probably the best ending possible. But that doesn't mean that I wanted it to end like that. It was an awesome series, though.

OT: I can't think of any anime that made me cry. Or really anything that ever made me cry. I've felt bad for characters in a series/movie/book/game, but not to the point that it drove me to tears. Sorry.

Kannazuki No Miko, the ending made me bawl my eyes out, but in the end it simply has a beautiful ending.
Some parts of Kodomo No Jikan, SOME.

That was a fairly good movie, though it didn't bring me to tears. I was surprised how realistically it sounded when Makoto cried, though.

Yeah Clannad... hell, a lot of KeY stuff gets me going... but Clannad is the most notable (and in my opinion, the best) one.

...Nagisa...
