I shed a tear at...

L's death in Death Note, I saw it coming but I didn't want it to happen. Series got markedly worse after that.

Also shed a tear at the end of Lucky Star, it was all wrapped up in such a cute, satisfying way, but then it reminded me that the series ended rather than going on forever like I hoped it would.

Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, FMA, 5cm per second.

I can't think of anything else. Cried for the same reason for each anime except for the last one.

Edit: Maybe Jin-Roh. I don't remember, though.
Hmmm thought you'd like cry in Evangelion, I shed a tear when...

Shinji killed Kaworu. I mean he was like the only person who understood him and I also thought Kaworu was pretty cool.
NGE really wasn't a tearjerker. I was left in awe several times, and other moments were definitely sad, but nothing worthy of tears.

Grave of the Fireflies is the only movie that ever made me bawl like a baby.

I only just sniffled during other movies.

Narcissa Valley of the wind. The very first time I watched it, the ending was so emotional to me. But that was a few years ago. I think my age back then might be a variable. It's possible that if I watched it for the first time right now I wouldn't cry. Then again I could be wrong.

What moments left you in awe?

The ending for EoE really left me in awe with the whole Crucifixion of Shinjis Eva.

Oh yes especially the last 5 minutes of the show.

And if you want a real tear jerker go read the finale of the manga...its beautiful.

Asuka being ripped to shreds by the Harpies in EoE.
Asuka's mind rape.
Rei's suicide right after figuring out she loved Shinji.

Asuka being torn to shreds - again - this time by Eva 01.

One Piece, this scene. A Character called Brook has a flashback of his past about how his crew of musicians die one at a time from poison as they play their last song together. You can skip to about three minutes and thirty seconds in if your impatient.

You have to watch the show to understand just how sad this scene is.
I couldn't agree more with this, One Piece has many emotional moments, but this one really got too me. Poor Brook, had to spend 50 years on a ship alone, wandering the sea.

Not including the obvious Miyazaki films that almost got me, Azumanga Daioh almost got me a few times.

It is the only anime I have really cried in the inside and in the outside.

Kamina's death made me flip. I mean, I'd had it spoiled for me before hand but seeing it myself was just too much.

And then Jougan and Barinbou too? I started to have an emotional breakdown, but cheered up when I realized that it was time for Kittan to step and save the--OH FUCK KITTAN TOO?! I was bawling by the end of that series.

Cowboy Bebop

Spike's fight at the end made me all teary-eyed, and I might have sobbed a bit, but then I figured out he was just sleeping and I felt better.

Naruto

Finding out it got a second series. But it grew on me somewhat. Jiraiya is the only character I seriously regretted the death of; he was just too cool to die.
