"Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations" - Mass Effect 2
THIS. SO MUCH THIS!

Ugh...Garrus is one of my favourite characters from the series, and I grumbled EVERY. FREAKIN. TIME he did that little head turn thing, knowing that a "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations" was coming. It got to the point where I wished Shepard would just interrupt him and go "yeah, yeah, calibrations. I know, have fun.".

When I got to the end and the main gun was about to fire, I actually said out loud "If this shot doesn't !@#$ING kill those guys after all those damn calibrations, I will personally kick your ass out the airlock, Garrus."

I mean, at least the equally interesting Mordin would have a few "not now, I'm busy" responses to offer. And most of them were hilarious.

YOU SPOONY BARD, why did you have to remind me of that one?! *clutches head* That was the most annoying line in the game for the sheer amount of times it got SPAMMED in that boss fight. At least the other eggman battles had significantly shorter lines that were less annoying when spammed. (EG: "LIGHTS OUT!")

In Halo: Reach, while trying to get the "If They Came to Hear Me Beg" achievement -

"Stay low. Let me draw the heat. Just deliver that package."
^This

Also:
Mass Effect - "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE!!!!!"
And whenever I head it, I see a random screenshot from a memory and the screen is shaking like crazy. Gives me a headache.

Also Circus of Values from Bioshock. I want to obliterate every machine... although that might have to do with the fact I always have max ammo and max money.

Yup. And on TV, yet no less! Gah! The only way to win was to choose the lady in the wheelchair. Although, to be honest, I knew Slutty!Chick was the wrong one to pick. I picked Robin as my first "Choice". I felt as stabbed in the back as the main character was...
Marie was total schmuck bait as they say in the land of TV Tropes. Robin on the other hand was actually my second choice, but there was just something about what Samantha (the girl in the TV) was saying that just somehow clicked.

Even though I survived Stauf's machinations, I still had to complete the game again because I felt like such a dirtbag for leaving Robin high and dry.

"Attention, we have hostiles in the sector!"

Just fucking cause.

The worst part is that they keep sending weak helicopters at your powerful missile-boasting terror of the sky so you'll eventually need to hijack the shitty things.

The orks constant yelling of SPACE MARINES in (you guessed it) Space Marine

Its like the game thinks that we keep forgetting we are playing as some 7ft tall juggernaught and feels the need to remind us.

I saved just before the last puzzle, but still. :p

What's funny is, despite the crappy acting, I still found the 7th Guest scarier than 11th Hour. Stauf seems somewhat more... defanged in the second game. His voiceovers didn't get on my nerves nearly as much. Although the "FEELING... LONELY?!" section being played at 2 AM might have had something to do with how scary I found the first game over the second...

I know what you mean about the ropey acting still somehow managing to scare you. I seen a film called Necronomicron with some seriously cheesy effects and acting and still managed to scare me.

Though it may have also had something to do with the fact that not only was I watching it at a silly time, but it was the fisrt time I had seen the idea of living through being made a quadruplegic. That scared me far more than someone who gets killed outright. But I guess that's more psychological horror when I think of it.

Try "Ringu" some time if you really want to be brain-screwed. No blood, no gore... all psychological horror. ::whimper:: "The Ring" wasn't nearly as bad.

Ha ha, way ahead of you on that one. I remember watching it as part of Channel 4's Extreme Asia season. That kept me awake for a while, so much so - I ended up finging out exactly what an Onryō was about a week later. (In fact, the whole season piqued my interest in Japanese culture in general.)

"HEY LOOK LISTEN" is the most obvious one I think.

"FALCON PUNCH!"
"DO A BARREL ROLL!"
Every sound effect in every Harvest Moon ever. I don't CARE that it's not a quote.
"Stop! You have violated the law!"
The "Welcome to the Pokemon Center!" speech in every damn game that you can't skip.

Speaking of Final Fantasy X - Tidus's laugh.

Makes my ears bleed.
Guess that's what happens when you have the same voice actor as Wooldoor Sockbat from Drawn Together. Speaking of Final Fantasy X...

Most anything that came of Yuna's mouth in FF X-2. Notable example: "Oh, poopie." Did they think making her talk/act like a valley girl be cute or something?

Also:

"Snake?! SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!"

"Understand, understand. Understand, understand. Understand, understand the concept, the concept of love"

"Rise fwom your gwave!"

"A mighty spell!" (I forget the game, it was on Dreamcast and the damn Dwarf blacksmith would say this EVERY TIME you made a modification to your weapons).

"Ekase? Ekase? EKAAASSEEE?" (Iori from King of Fighters)

"Me boingy!" (Mai from King of Fighters - I know she's actually speaking Japanese, but that's exactly what it sounds like she's saying. Her enormous bouncing tits only add to the effect.)

Everything the guards in Oblivion say.

"STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!"
"Then pay with your blood!"
"I've fought mudcrabs stronger then you!"
"Why won't you DIIIEEE!"

Edit:
"For the Emperor!"
