I hope they do, still it's a rather useless endeavor as the government and corporations can spy on us anytime they want and really anyone can get information about anyone easy. I admire their convictions, but you would have to take out a lot more than facebook to secure us any true privacy.

I talked down against anon, so guys start flooding my e-mail box. lovely.

So much for freedom of speech, eh?
That doesn't mean people aren't allowing you to communicate. It just means people disagree with you. And it isn't an ebox, it's an inbox.
I don't care, 2 people where just banned because they "disagreed" with me by flooding my box with racism, cusswords and idiocy. You know, the way anonymous usually does stuff.
When the hell did they sware, or their moves not without reason, also, they didn't hack PSN, that was Lulzec, remember? And yeah, people can disagree in ANY WAY they want, if people disagree by being asses, well, their disagreeing by being asses. So you got 2 people banned for not being able to take shit from people on the internet? Whatever, but my point still stands, Anonymous is pretty god damn powerful, and only want people to be more safe with their info, and teach sites that the internet is something to respect, along with the ability to flourish its own, special brand of freedom wiskey. Again, when was the time they did something without a sight of being provoked?
have you ever visited a chan with a invasion board before? they don't need reasons to attack people, they just do it when they feel like it. I can link you to one or 5 if you want? You want everyone else to see how anon acts behind closed doors?

also I agree anon is powerful, like a bunch of monkeys with rocket launchers. they scream, throw poop and shoot at anything that displeases them. they don't teach anybody anything but fear. They don't care about there backwards agenda, they just know they have the power to hurt things without being punished for it, so they act in the absolute most coward like way imaginable.
HAHAH! That monkey pun was a funny image, anyway, have a good day. So how is this cowardly, though? Hacking is the same as stealing intelligence, corporate espionage, it still leaves tracks of a crime, and can still be de-coded and tracked, a crime IS crime, no matter its form. Robbing a bank leaves clues, hacking a PC leaves clues. So, any reason this is cowardly?
yes, because its extremely easy to make yourself hard to find and the actual chance of repercussion is extremely low. they will never really get who took down the psnetwork, even through they caused millions in damages.

like I said, corwards. really I have no idea where you where going with this argument.
Nowhere, you answered my questions, made my day with a monkey pun, and brought interesting things up to the table for disscussion, see, freedom of speech AT ITS FINEST! Personally, ANON can do what they want, if they do something good, YAY, but bad, BOO! Either way, they have their own vices, let them do what they want, if they ARE screaming in the dark, no point in batting them your eye.

Sony is a corprate giant... lulsec took them down a couple of notches and even shifted the blame on anonymous and then onto an individual that got a court sentance as if it was him alone that took down sony.

lulsec is not as powerful as anon and it managed all that, now can you seriously say that they can't manage taking down a single site?
There's a bit of a difference there. Sony is a big corporation, but their site is only a very small fraction of their composition. They might have taken the site down, but it didn't stop them from shipping out TVs and PS3s. I remember another time when Anon attacked Monsanto's site which would have been cool is if it wasn't a worthless formality to them anyway.

Facebook's website on the other hand IS the company. All of the company's (billions of dollars of) revenue comes from the website, and all of their (multi-billion dollar) budget goes into more servers, security measures, and programmers than Sony would ever use for their site.

Attacking Facebook is just waking a sleeping giant IMO. As Mr. Dicaprio would say:

[HEADING=1] We are not prepared to deal with this type of security![/HEADING]

This, This right here, justifies the entirety of my existence.

It was not until this day that I lived.

The day that it succeeds will be the day that I feel real happiness for the first time.
For a monster will die on that day, and a thousand victims will scream in frustration that it did, and I, among the rest of the few who hated the beast as much as I, will laugh with the greatest vigor.

If this goes through, and Facebook is destroyed, I will classify Anonymous as a justified group of valor, integrity, and greatness.

Here's to hopin'.

accept I did answer your question, you just completely failed to comprehend it. hell, we both did. You asked was it cowardly, and we both said yes... it in fact was very cowardly. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not.
So, now I'm cowardly, and yeah, YOU DID answer my question, if I'm cowardly, then I'm sure as hell as cowardly as you are, sir. Because neither of us is looking eye-to-eye. Don't be a troll, because, again, I'm grateful you spent the time to type your messages, again, good day.

There is a line which people need to learn. Flooding his inbox is childish but meh click delete all and poof all gone. Keep doing it for a few days and sure I'd have a banhammer sent for them anyday of the week and twice on sunday. Flooded with idiocy? Everyone has their on opinions and they can express it. However curseing is generally tolerable to a point but racism isn't and should be dealt with severely. We are all human, get used to it people. So for those that were banned for racism I say good riddance. Wish we could do more to cleanse them of their idiocy(regarding racism)
Put in great words, my dear man. I was less concerened with his box, and more with his last steatement, but other then that, wrote like a poetic gentlemen [women]

That and if I remember correctly, The PSN had developed quite a good amount of notoriety regarding how easy it was to hack, lax security ect. This (again if I remember correctly) was before Lulzsec even attacked it. So I don't think hacking into the PSN is enough to show that you can take on Facebook. While Lulzsec did indeed attempt and attack against facebook and well... suffice to say it was way too difficult. I think they also tried Microsoft too and that was too well protected.

So in order to destroy facebook to punish them for releasing my private information they will compromise facebooks security with my information.

Clearly they have their priorities sorted out.

Time to back up all my photos and write myself an address book.
What happened to Anonymous? When did they let the attention seeking wankers take over?
The day they formed the organization.

Ok, I don't think even Anonymous is capable of that. I be shedding any tears if they do happen to succeed though. I do question why they'd do such a thing though, what do they have against Facebook?
