I always help others out when it doesn't inconvenience me too much, I helps keep up my public image and quell the rumours going around my school that I am a terrorist. I swear one comment about smuggling explosives (hypothetically) onto air planes, and you are voted "most likely to become a super villain"

What a perfect way to get loads of quotes in your inbox. Sneaky sneaky you.

OT:

I generally try to help people because I feel that people should help each other out. I know if I was stuck in a snow bank in a tiny car at last 30 miles from the nearest town, in an area without cell reception I would be ecstatic if someone stopped and yanked me out of there with their vehicle. Sure eventually a WSDOT truck will run down that length of road and get them out of there. But pulling them out saves them a tow truck bill, and long hours stuck there.

Would be pretty hypocritical for me to not practice what I preach, therefor I try to help whenever I can.

On ST:O im now RA5, So ill go into the starting area, oblitirate all of the enemies, And give all the loot to a new player.

I do it on a lot of MMO's.
Haha, excellent idea. I might have to start doing that, when I get around to restoring an MMO or two. Had to wipe my harddrive. I should get DDO back, I had some fun with that.

Now I have taken that away from you *evil chuckle*.
Now I made someone chuckle with 10 seconds worth of writing, I'd call that an easy good deed :D
Yeah but it was more of a serial killer style chuckle so I'm not sure you would want that award.

I can't really claim to much, but I volunteer at my local Salvation Army store, sorting out the bric-a-brac and taking donations on a Sunday when they're closed.

It would be nice if we could all do something nice for other people. But it's pretty easy to misconstrue something that's meant to be nice. Such as you said about going on Omegle, it probably didn't mean much to the horny 13 year olds.

Some bloke once gave me his business card that had written on the back "you brighten my day". I could never work out if it was kinda sweet gesture that came off a bit creepy or just creepy.

Sometimes people don't want you to do things for them and sometimes they do. I think it's fine to offer help and be polite but don't be surprised if they don't want it. Don't make it a thing.

Giving to charities is a different kettle of fish though. Yes it's good if you do it anonymously but if you wear the stupid pins and tell everyone about it then you're just an idiot.

I used to work as a baggage handler at an airport. Often people send down bags that still have shoulder-straps or tiny bags. These sometimes get stuck or fall off and into the machinery.
I saw one little handbag stuck under the conveyor belt and i knew it wouldnt be saved till midnight. Since check-in was quiet, i pushed the emergency stop button, climbed up and fished it out. Although I do this all the time what i didnt notice this time, was i a bit closer then normal and got hit in the back by something.
Turns out later i got stabbed in the back. I didnt notice till someone noticed blood dripping from a hole in my shirt...it just felt itchy lol. I couldnt report injury because i was somewhere i shouldnt be but it wasnt all that deep. Nice scar though! :D actually looks like i was stabbed by a knife.
To whoever got their little bag after landing in Ibiza, you will never know the blood that was spilt to save your handbag that could have been taken onboard as hand luggage.

Mine is usually unplanned, or only short-term plans.

Ex: I found $20 on the street at night and didn't see anybody around. I put it in my pocket and found a wheelchair-bound homeless person sleeping in a ATM kiosk in the late fall. I put the bill where he could find it.
