Pretty much what the title says. Anonymous done did piss off the FBI again. This is considerably more than just taking down their website, however. Perhaps not earth shattering, but still note-worthy. I'm curious as to why they were happy to make it common knowledge that they were capable of this, though. You'd think they wouldn't want to tip the FBI off, so it makes me wonder if they've got far more up their sleeve.
So what do people think? Internet revolutionaries or criminals? Or just trollololol? People can't really claim that they're just script kiddies anymore, right?
Also, in before "this thread again".
TRANSLATION: Anonymous battles the tide of the internet in an effort to remain relevent.
Here's the funny thing about Anon right now. They're riding a slippery slope from the get-go, and generally have bad timing on things. They MIGHT get on the same ticket as piracy, but they don't really pull off the V bit. What are they really? They are...one part "This Vicious Cabaret".
And the patrons and actors too are uncertain if the show is through
And with side-long looks await their cue but the frozen mask just smiles.
That one. That's really all they are. Because they are directionless, pretty much identity-less, and practically leaderless...they are the dancing puppets on a string to the frozen mask they've chosen to be their god. It is the SAME as those people in
The Dark Knight dressing up as Batman and taking guns to a drug deal. They might accomplish something, but they are NOT BATMAN. We can at least say that Batman, V, and numerous other emulated characters have their shit together while the ones DOING the emulation do not.
They may get a tip of the hat from Alan Moore himself, but even the creator of
V For Vendetta has to admit the ball's been dropped on numerous occasions.
