lol at the different modes. i actually kind o like the idea, their are certainly things i would rather skip on my 5th play through. like fights....or conversations.....might have a normal play through, play it again with just fights and then again with just story....makes an over all play through a lot shorter. do you know how many times i had to carry over my commander Shepard to get him to level 60 in ME1? that was like 4 full plays doing evey possible side quest i could find...like 4 full 40 hour stories.....jesus...THANK GOD I CAN CARRY HIM OVER FROM GAME TO GAME!

OT: I wasn't interested in Mass Effect at all before seeing these screenshots, and I'm still not interested in it. Especially now that the multiplayer part looks more competitive than cooperative...

Edit: Looking through the thread, I'm finding a lot of people angry at 'action mode'. Allow me to point something out: You do not have to play it if you don't want to. Another thing: by appealing to people who don't usually like story-based games to play the cut-down version, they might at some point get so disappointed that they'll go to the 'proper' game. Congratulations, another RPG player, and converted from the CoD crowd at that. Tell me, why is that a bad thing?

Story mode= Mass Effect3: the Interactive Novel
RPG mode= Mass Effect3: Stop being a twat and play the game properly

As for the order of the mode-options, I think it works perfectly. Have the 'derp derp' option at the top of the list, so all the people who just go "whatever, whatever ... button button button .. can I start shooting things now?" get the option that suits them. People who have been playing ME for a while know to read and choose carefully. They'll find the correct option.

They actually did a similar thing in ME1. If you picked "Just start the game" (or whatever it was called) without going through all the pre-game customization, you were automatically a Solider.

I move around alot. If your interested in Bioware games, go hang on their social forum. They can be a little....zealous in their Fanboying/girling, but they're friendly enough are quick on new info about Bioware.

If you want to stay on the safer side of things, try Reddit or 4chan's /v/.
Ignorant fuckheads, but the fastest to the draw on any leaks.

Otherwise, just keep in contact with other Hardcore gamers or industry members and they'll keep on the up an up. Hope I was helpful
