Another new sonic game?

They should hire fans to make the games for them, maybe then it would actually be decent.

Then maybe the series would return to it's 2-D roots, where Sonic rightfully belongs, dashing across giant roads at incredible speeds.

It looks like the leprous retards at Sonic Team still think that, after the last 'masterpiece', Sonic still has it in him to turn his horrible 3-D gaming career around and start fresh . . . which is about as likely as Simon Cowell suddenly becoming nice.

One thing that could help sonic is that they take there anime away from 4kids and Nintendo would just come up with some new ideas that are not so kid friendly. it doesn't really appeal to the older aged people unless there fans of the good old 2D games of sonic.

Are you serious, he's carrying a freaking sword? Why can't they just make it a 3D/2D speed run, like the original games with better graphics. They should also stop trying to make an elaborate story for the character, it just ruins the experience with its cheesiness.

I thought this was announced long ago. It's astounding how many Sonics have been announced, sold and maimed by the gaming community in less than a year. From what I gather, the number of games they are trying to put out, and knowing it's a cash cow for the hard-core and unaware, I think they are simply using it for, to reiterate, a cash-cow.

At the beginning... Sonic looked more like a "summon" than the actual game.

Sega should only release sonic games on DS/PSP that way their more likely to make a 2d game preferably with 2d sprites like in Sonic Advance rather than the 3d models in Sonic Rush. Other than that Sega should Stick to other franchises Like Shenmue, Gunstar Heroes and Jet Set Radio new games entirely.

I know right? It's like Sega was asked to make a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but they just can't resist using every other condiment on the shelf as well.

You can sometimes get taste the PB&J but it's spread so thin and overpowered by the cacophony of the other flavors.

Black Knight will probably be good.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was a good Sonic game. And since this is a sequel, I'm buying it. I'm not the type to leave a game unfinished.

Sonic is the successful combination of Roadrunner and Mario... And blue.
One day, 4 games were made and all was good. Sonic Team then decide to try the 3D and all seemed okay. After that though, things went downhill as the Blue Roadio ran out of space to run and started going to places where no one wanted him to go, into crappy churned out games to appease the fans and to hopefully accumulate some extra wealth. All of course at the expense of good gameplay, good times and of course, there was a subsequent lack of "Face Palming".

Sonic is as overplayed as Mario, Zelda and Lara Croft, and yet they still keep going? Why? Cause people will buy them (And most will play them too) but as long as they get sales, It doesn't really matter, they just want profits

as a sequal to the secret rings it might be good, though I already know I am gonna be pissed at them for ripping of King Arthur and stuff. If they use the sword in combination with his standard homing attack it might be good but please let them make speed more important then combat in this game, unlike sonig unleashed....
