Fanboys bought the previous Sonic game that's how.

I don't have any hopes for this game. I know it is going to be bad. Sure the trailer looks somewhat good but so did the Unleashed trailer and we know how that plays.

It's like they crank the absurd up every game,"GOTH SONIC WITH GUN" then "WEREHOG" and now "SONIC WITH SWOOORD!!1" it's like Sonic Team just take any noob post about anything and then churn out that concept for all to see/.

I think i'll quit on sonic for a while. About until SEGA include the satAM characters and archie comic characters, and also the sonic underground. That should do it.

Personally I haven't purchased a console Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2, although I played (but never finished) Sonic Heroes.

Honestly, though? Black Knight looks like it could be good. Trailer-wise, this is the best I've seen since early looks on Sonic 2k6 (before Shadow and Silver were revealed). I could very well end up buying both Secret Rings and this for my Wii... eventually.

You are ALL wrong. They get their funding the same way that Uwe Boll does.

Anyway, I had heard of this game some time ago, but forgot it existed...Like Sega should do. They should forget about the existence of Sonic and let him just die already. Not only do they suck more and more, but the constant attempts to "spice up" gameplay by adding stupid things like swords and guns and the weak attempts at adding an actual story are just getting painfully ridiculous. Well, more so than they have been.

Seriously, Sega has forgotten what made Sonic FUN in the first place.
