Ok, Im not a fanboy or anything, but what is it with the wave of anti-Microsoft sentiments these days. What unforgivable sin has Microsoft committed. I mean, I know we accuse it of being monopolistic, but can you imagine the state of the world if everyone used a different OS. Imagine the burden on software developers to have to program for 50 different OS's. What do we all hate Microsoft for??

Although there are quite a few flaws in the system I agree that it would be much worse to have hundreds of thousands of separate OS types. Still... I think there's equal hate for the other OS choices. I may be wrong but doesn't apple get just as much stick from people as microsoft?

...Halo may not be perfect (far from it) but I would still like to play it. Well that's my grind so far.

Seeing as it is a gaming website, my guess is largely Games For Windows Live.

Honestly it seems to me that the MS hate has been coming down for several years. While MS is still a big dog they don't get the attention they used to and there are more heavy weights in the ring with them: Apple didn't win the computer wars but is doing very well in the smart phone and MP3 player markets, while Google dominates the internet.

Windows Vista was crap and I'm on my 6th X-box 360.

They also named their console the X-box.

Other than that I have no problems with them.

Its not an unforgivable sin, its just a crappy search engine.

And I din't have to use it for 5 years, as my only OS.
