Any comedic games?

Brutal Legend has some great humor in it.

Also, Neverwinter Nights 2 has a few jabs at RPG tropes, including that when you are putting a party, the dwarf gets mad and says:
?Wh-what the hells is this? First, the demon, and now this willow-thin slip of an elf? Let's invite all the realms! Make a grand army, tromping through the wilderness! ?Enemies, come get us! Here we arrre!??


And Mask of the Betrayer ?evil? companion has some pitch black humor himself, though it goes over a lot of people?s heads. Evil, and loving every minute of it!

I found Nier and Planescape; torment to be funny....

Nier is either so good it is bad or a brillaint parody/satire of video games.

Planescape: Torment is a game about an amnesiac immortal man trying to figure out who/what he is in a world where the belief is stronger than the sword (but has things like a floating talking skull who hits on zombies.

What? Magicka hasn't been brought up yet?

Hopefully the above line will give you an idea of what Magicka is about. It is a satire of the RPG genre as well as referential humor to gaming as well as a few pop culture references. But, it also has a great magic system under all the humor. Great game.

I would suggest getting a few friends to play it with you. It is far more fun with a few friends in co-op, which I use the term co-op very loosely. Friendly fire is on and remember, do not cross the streams. That would be bad. Yet, very funny. Death isn't a major problem and can come from both your allies and enemies very quickly.

You can find it on Steam and for now it is a PC only title. It also has a paid DLC that takes place in Vietnam. Yes, wizards with guns in the Vietnam War.

I mean sure, I've played Portal and Suda 51's No More Heroes is pretty funny. Heck, The only game I know is funny but haven't played is Sam and Max. Are there any other funny games for me to try?

Deathspank(both games) and comic jumper are my suggestions. Although they're only on XBLA.

Brutal Legend has to be the funniest game i have ever played and remains to this day my favorite game. If you play civ rev with a friend at 2 a.m. thats also very funny, espically pushes shaka around on hardest difficulty.

Comic Jumper, Splosion Man, Portal 1 and 2, Conker's, and pretty much any Tim Schafer games. I always felt adventure games had the funniest writing like Sam and Max.

You could also try Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment, it's the only game I've played where you smuggle baconburgers and pornography in space.

The banter between your companions in both Dragon Age games is worth listening to. Spent a good hour going over the Proving bridge just to hear them argue.
