Any forgotten or obscure games that would make great reboots or sequels for this gen.

Thrill Kill. Well, actually I'd like it made, with lot's of blood, gore, fire and kinky cattle prods, just like the pixelated original. Except not pixelated.

The Digimon series would be pretty cool....well I think it would :3

The Myst series. If people could get over the fact that it is a puzzler and not real-time, the fact that it's pre-rendered could allow it to look better than Crysis without chewing up computers. As a gamer, it'd be nice to argue that our most realistic looking game is an artful puzzler and not a shoot-em-up. No offense to Crysis, naturally, never played it myself.

Contra, with the popularity of shooters and the nostalgia of the game it would do really well I think. Not obscure but kind of surprising that there hasn't already been a reboot.

Even though MGS1 isn't forgotten I would love a remake for that (the one for the gamecube sucked compared to it).

What sucked about it, it just had updated graphics and better directed voice acting, as far as i know the only negative change is gray foxes voice was a different actor.

Sorry I ment to say from what I've heard it sucked apparently it had some more of the the anime comedy which is all right in small doses but I would think it would be annoying if used alot

Possibly the only god thing to come out of the prequel star wars trilogy. I would love to see a sequel on current gen. consoles.

Colony Wars
...or ANY "real" Space Combat Game

But Colony Wars could hold it's own against the much more sophisticated PC Games like Freespace on the PSone (!) and had some AMAZING setpieces that would look awesome in HD (like some missions in the Third Game, where you faced a planet devouring Spaceship/Cosmic Horror Hybrid).


Also, kinda related to that, being a cool but forgotton PSone Sci-Fi Flight Game, a new G-Police would be very cool.

Not entirely sure if this counts as obscure but Skies of Arcadia. I loved that game and need more of that goodness in my gaming life.

The Strike series was also massive fun and could easily be rebooted for a modern audience.

Oh and not obscure but does anyone think that whichever game developer cottons onto Dwarf Fortress and throws a non ASCII graphics engine at it will be the richest person alive? I do. I love it the way it is but its so addictive and most people are put off by just the graphics.

Space Quest (if King's Quest gets a reboot, so should this)
