Any good JRPG reccomendations?

I was thinking about it the other day and I realized I've never really played a JRPG and I decided to see what the genre is all about. So, if any of you seasoned JRPGers have any recommendations, could you please post them here so I can experience the best the genre has to offer first?

Kingdom Hearts is one of the only JRPGs I've ever liked along with FFX

Demon's Souls count as a JRPG.

I didn't mind Final Fantasy X.

I'm not a huge JRPG guy. But I found some fun outta FFX. Hardcore JRPG lovers may want to rip my head off for liking it though X)

Lunar 2 is spectacular beyond words. I would suggest picking up the PS1 remake, though. Also, a strong second for the Paper Marios, which were also glorious. The Final Fantasies are examples of good JRPGs as well [I would recommend #10 (X) if this is your first one, though my personal favorite was 8 on the PS1]

I would suggest Final Fantasy 9. However, I'm not sure if it's out on PSN yet. You could get Chrono Trigger on the DS. If you like tactics, you could get FF Tactic War of the Lions on the PsP.

Oh and pretty much any Mario RPG.

And to the people who said Mario RPGs, I've played them and loved them, but I wasn't sure if hardcore JRPG fans would consider them to be "real" RPGs...

Baten Kaitos (turn the voices off...unless you're playing the prequel)
Final Fantasy VI, VII, or X

I don't play a lot of JRPG's, but Dark Cloud 1&2 are some of the best games I've ever played.
White Knight Chronicles looks good (it's created by the same developer as the Dark Cloud games).
Demon's Souls is very good as well.

I don't like them that much, but a friend of mine likes Fiesta, a free downloadable JRPG. It apparently won some awards.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's a KRPG, but they all look the same to me, so don't let that deter you.
